The Right Plaice in Darlington

We had two medium fish and one portion of chips they were delicious.

Just finished cod and chips. We are so happy we found this plaice :) Good chunky cod fillets, crispy tasty batter and the best chips I’ve had from a chip shop. Thank you.

Used to be a great chippy but has gone downhill since changing hands

Disappointed took 5 hours to cancel order. Tried again and again took nearly 5 hours to cancel the order. Disgraceful disgusting customer service. Sad as such a good chippy but will never use again.

This has to be the best fish and chippery in Darlington. The food is gorgeous and very ample portions. The price is a little bit pricey but well worth it for the food and portions. The meal deals are exactly the same for value and tastiness. The staff are helpful and jolly. Best place in Darlington for food and service. ❤

1st time we have tried fish and chips for here, the fish is the best iv teasted since Bartlett street closed. Highly recommend, will definitely go back again.

Best fish and chips in the town. I went there on the off-chance a while ago for my elderly Dad as his usual chippy was shut.Dad won't let me go anywhere else now! He says they're the best he's ever had, and having tried them myself I have to agree.The fish is cooked fresh when you order, none of this sitting under a heat lamp rubbish.At £5.95 for regular fish and chips the price is also highly competitive.To top it off, the staff are excellent, always smiling, happy and chatty even though they're always busy when I go.Highly recommended.

The food here is amazing, as are the staff. Major kudos to the 3 ladies who were working here together; Super quick, efficient and professional. Very attentive also! Definitely the best chippy in Darlo!!

Right Plaice this chip shop has improved over the years and has some good deals on food. There is still a little room for improvement.Food was well prepared and hot prices are a little on the high side.Staff were friendly and informative.It is worth the visit and has an extensive menu which should suit all tastes.

Great smaller size and crispy chips. Good portion for standard cod 5.95.
