Waterstones Darlington & Cafe W in Darlington

My wife had seen a book on the internet and wanted to order it, we went into Waterstones and the young man called Ellis was very helpful and ordered it for her, it has a 3 week delivery from the publisher and we have no obligation to buy it when it gets delivered, so if we see it somewhere else we can still buy it without losing any money. Very happy with the service.

Excellent range of books and very friendly and helpful staff. Nice atmosphere.

My favourite bookshop...found what i was looking for straightaway...friendly , helpful staff!

Amazing place with different genre of books. Calm and quiet place to be!

Excellent choice of vooks very helpful friendly staff.Good selection of cards and wrap and other book related goods.zLove this shop.

Well equipped store with books for everyone, enjoyed my cup of coffee too.

Used to love going to Waterstones but they seem to have stopped putting fiction books into genres so, unless you know the author your looking for it's difficult to find anything new to try.

Wonderful books beautifully displayed, colourful and clean and tidy warm place. Bonus, good cafe upstairs.

This is a very well designed shop. Excellent lighting and noise level very low. The cafe is great and the staff are very nice.I'm a Londoner just visiting but I would totally spend or waste a ton of time in the cafe with a book and a cup of excellent tea made with actual tea leaves in a pot.Wonderful selection of books of all sorts

Very welcoming environment, with friendly staff. We bought 5 books, and they were all reasonably priced.Unfortunately, in this age, it's difficult for bookshops to compete with a certain large company, and their space-faring owner...
