Buffet King At Metro in Gateshead

Drinks were flat and tasted strange, staff always very efficient. Food plenty to choose from , grandson loves it here as he can try lots of different things.

It was ok, works out expensive if you eat sensibly. Suffice to say there were plenty of people getting their money's worth but sadly also a lot of waste. The food quality was good and the range of dishes on offer was extensive. All in all a decent experience but my local takeaway is much better.

Staff so friendly. I had 2 kids with me, one decided to use the serving spoons to eat off. Obvs told him off, and gave the spoon to the staff to change. She had no judgement and just laughted. I really appreciated that, as kids can be sods!Food was hot and fresh. Bit pricey for kids. As mine only nibble and didn't really fill their plates. However they enjoyed it and so did I.

Been here a few times. Enjoy going there once in a while. The food remains the same for the past 5 years it has not changed, except for one or two. They charge children if they are tall at full price, not as per age. They have hand sanitizer everywhere.

First time visiting and was not disappointed at all! Lots of variety, all of the dishes were constantly topped up and staff are prompt with changing your plate. Definitely recommend and will be going again!

Best Buffet in the metro centre by far, lovely selection of food and was very fresh and tasty Asian foods and also some banging chicken nuggets.All the Fruit was fresh and a large selection with desserts. However Don't get drinks since they are expensive and not refillable.Only reason why it isn't 5 stars is that they think they can charge way more on the weekend since that is the busiest time for the restaurant .Just need sweet chilli sauce

Food was amazing so much choice and piping hot. The only downside was the cashier asking if we would like to leave something for the staff. We were shown to a table by one guy who barely spoke and the girl who served our drinks didn't utter a word...did that warrant a tip??

Took temperature, provided face mask and very clean. Good selection of food and well priced. Staff friendly and efficient too.

Firstly the downside due to the current situation around this pandemic means they want you to have a temporary mask on when collecting food and temperature check. Imagine having to put a mask on everytime you want to grab another plate of food! The selection of food isn't good if your know Cosmo's or Tops in Manchester I'd say give this a miss, however if you want to eat a lot of food for less than £20 then go for it. Staff are really friendly though.
