Dishes are spot on and customer service good quality standard

Just revived our order only thing that has split our order is the chips we've paid for haven't been received and food only warm!

As a family of 3, we always get the platter meal. We live too far away for it to be delivered so we collect. It's a 10-15 minute car journey however our food is always hot still by the time we arrive and always delicious. There are Indian takeaways nearer to where we live but we always opt for the Chutney in Wrekenton.

We have been ordering from here for years but when we placed our meal on New years eve we wont be going back,Ordered food and was told 1 hr 45 minutes delivery so we waited over 2 1/4 hrs the food still hadn't arrived so we phoned the shop and they said it was waiting for the driver so we gave them the benefit of the doubt with it being New years eve, phoned back 10 minutes later to offer to collect and they then said they was only boxing it up so there was the first lie.We then ended up collecting it and i asked for the delivery charge to be refunded to which i was laughed at by the guy behind the counter and offered a bottle of fanta.We got home sorted the food out and items were missing so we phoned up the shop to make them aware to which they replied "Can you come back and get it" of course we didn't so they offered us a free meal on our next order.Phoned up to order 05/01/21 to which we asked for our free meal and they turned around and said no we will give you a free nan bread so again another lie!!!!I am a firm believer of good customer service and treating your repeat customers fairly to which they have now lost a valuable customer.Shocking definitely wont be ordering again.

A party of 14 of us celebrated a 60th birthday here on a Saturday night & everybody totally enjoyed it. Our food was delicious & the staff very accommodating & helpful. Would return & recommend.

The customer service from this place is a total joke it lets the whole place down. Orders Never arrive on time, no apology. Their website as basic as it is never works yet they basically imply you are a liar when you say the discount applies online yet he says it doesn’t. They delivered my order and hour and a half late and failed to add in a starter I had paid for online, conveniently were unable to offer a refund as they don’t deal with cards. Yet when the website is down just like that they can take card payments! Inconsistent and lacking in customer service skills!
