Curry Garden in Gateshead

Another fab meal from the Curry Garden, Coatsworth Road in Gateshead.. Easy to order from their extensive menu..Beautifully cooked, and absolutely delicious to eat. Excellent value for money and more than enough to satisfy any appetite. We never go any where else for a curry. Nice one Curry Garden

Best advice i can give is use bensham tandoori.. as the curry garden is very poor quality

Had a Just Eat delivery from here, arrived on time, hot and well packaged. The tandoori chicken wings were great 😁 the chicken tikka starter was delicious. The pokora chicken.. not to my taste! Seemed like it had some sort of chinese/indian batter on it? Daal soup was nice, could do with more salt in it. The mixed meat pilau rice was delicious, kinda like a chinese special fried rice but an indian version, defo a must try if you havent had one before. As for my main dish, lamb tikka bhuna with garlic nan, fantastic, proper authentic cooking.. magic!

We ordered the £13.95 garden box last night. It was the first time we had ordered from here having been disappointed with our usual place recently.We were really impressed with the food. It arrived earlier than expected and was hot and fresh. There was loads of meat and it was lovely and tender and very tasty. The chips were chunky and seemed homemade, if they were frozen they were very good. The mild, aromatic chicken curry that comes in the box is delicious and the nan bread was soft, fresh and had just the right amount of charring around the edges.There was lots of food and fed two adults and there are some leftovers for today. Very good value for money. We will definitely use again.

The Curry Garden is a lovely takeaway. We have been visiting here occasionally for many years and always enjoy the food.

Curry is fantastic and the chef will make it any way ya want. I even asked them to make it with less fat and they did a brilliant job. Amazing value for money too. I would definitely put this curry house up there with luigi khan's but costing half the price.

The food and customer service is always expectional! Each time I've ordered, everything has been packed piping hot and the food is absolutely delicious! All of the staff are welcoming and friendly, definitely my go to! I wouldn't go anywhere else, Curry Garden is the best! Thank you to you all for always going above and beyond and putting your customers at the heart of everything you do <3

Had high expectations for this place considering its history and longevity but was a bit disappointed in the food.Naan, Rogan Josh and chips were nice, but samosas, chicken tikka, onion bhaji and doner meat (in an Indian?!) were a bit bland.Giving 3 stars since the owner was very nice, seemed passionate and really cared about my satisfaction of the meal (even told me to call up and let him know if there was anything I'd like to have done differently).

So caring. 👍The meal was the special £6.95 but tbh the portions were so plentiful. We have loads for tomorrow.😊The food is the main issue We would like to say that the chicken tikka was authentic and cooked fresh ordering and the curry dishes were all amazing. Such flavours. The nan breads all had distinct flavours and the rice was the nicest we have had. Perfect. 😋The chicken curry excellent, tikka massala lovely, the sheek kebab and mixed kebab all nice.Will definitely be returning soon for another order. Thanks Curry Garden. We go back a long way.When I worked at Windmill Hills, once a week I had a lunch special to cheer me up. That's going bk years but yr food was amazing then and amazing now. 💕

I have had curry from here many times and it's always been amazing. They do not do the 'hot but tasteless' curries that you often get from a takeaway. The dishes from this takeaway are full of flavour.The takeaway has won many awards through its years of service and they are well deserved. I will personally continue to use this as my go to place for a curry takeaway dish.
