Very enjoyable and beautiful spot for breakfast.High quality of food, let down by plates not being very hot and food going cold quickly when outdoors.Staff very friendly.

ProNot a bad small place to go for a day out. Staff were very friendly and helpful.ConSeems a bit pricey in the shops but that is normal sadly. We bought some meat from the butchery to cook the next day. sadly it was no good for human consumption when opened. Looked good on the top but sadly was not on the under side.

It's a lovely location when the sun is shining and you can sit at one of the tables outside - a real suntrap. What lets this place down is the staff in the cafe move with the urgency of a lethargic snail, the coffee is so weak (I had to take it back as I genuinely thought they'd forgot to add the coffee and had given me a cup of steamed milk!), the service is sooooo slow - expect to be ignored for a bit (I'd really like a "I'll be with you in a moment" rather than to be full on ignored) and the cafe indoors is so utterly loud as there are so few soft furnishings anywhere to absorb noise, so when it's busy there's just a noisy echoey reverb of chatter. The garden centre has a wonderful and extensive range of plants and make it a real plant buyers heaven but the food/drinks/butchers shops is comically expensive.

A lovely setting and a lovely cafe, so I had good expectations. Unfortunately these disappeared quickly. Firstly and most importantly, if you’re in the hospitality trade you need to be welcoming to your customers with smiles and pleasantries. Not one member of staff broke a smile. Not one member of staff greeted me. In fact, I felt awkward and like I shouldn’t be there and the place wasn’t even busy. I stood there like I was invisible and was just about to leave when I was mumbled at. I ordered a scone and tea. The tea arrived and a few minutes later the scone. The scone was icy cold which wasn’t pleasant to eat. I’ve never eaten an icy cold scone and definitely won’t be repeating the experience. I heard a customer on the table next to me comment about her cold cheese scone and that they hadn’t offered to warm it up. One staff member cleaning tables continually flung her ponytail at every opportunity while scraping chairs under tables. The misery of the staff made the whole place miserable. Customer service was zero. That coupled with an icy scone unfortunately makes another visit unlikely. After reading reviews, I’m not the first person to comment on the staff. Maybe management should employ staff with customer service experience who actually want to be there and make their customers feel welcome.

Worst by far breakfast that I have ever looked at never mind tasted. £25 for 2 breakfasts and 2 cans of pop. Both had 1 bite of the bacon and sausage and left the full thing. Absolute vile, dripping in greese and plate full off water off the scrambled egg!! Defo don’t recommend!! 🤢

Pleasant cafe and adjoining the fun farm, and farm shop. Garden centre very limited. Free parking for visitors.

Call on Monday for coffee with my sister. The Cafe was empty with just a few people sitting outside. On arrival there were 4 staff in the kitchen no one came to serve at the counter till. Eventually my sister ordered her coffee I arrived a few minutes later it took another 5mins for a member of staff to serve us with a coffee which was more like hot water. We chatted while we drank our coffees and decided to have another me opting to have tea as the coffee was not nice. My sister stood at the counter while staff watched from the kitchen for more than 5 mins we gave up on ordering.and left. The staff were disgraceful in their treatment of their customers we were not the only ones who had to wait. Will not be back.

We had been given an afternoon tea for two as a Christmas present. Booked yesterday and went down this afternoon. Amazing. Everything was perfect. Sandwiches, flans and cakes first class and as much tea as you wanted. Staff were lovely and we had a great time. Highly recommend.

Great place for kids, loads for younger kids to do. Tea room was lovely, indoor play was great. Staff were really pleasant and helpful.

Nice little stop off...farm shop and destination for cuppa, maybe even spot of lunch. Decent menu, canny food reasonably priced. Will return. Animals added attraction for young and old alike. I'd love to see geese in pond too.
