Best fish or fish bites ever , batter is tremendous

Rude staff for one, Ordered a kebab wrap from here and I am absolutely disgusted,wrap was stale an my autistic child had a melt down over how hard the chips were, I fed it to the dog an even he turned his nose up not even to mention the garlic which was more like watery mayonnaise, Will not be coming back, I AM RAGING!!!!

I went to your shop today for fish n chips and gravy and I was disappointed. The chips were not up to standard the fish looked grey inside when I opened up the batter and the peas looked watery. But would I return to this shop I would not return to be honest with you It has changed over the years. There was not enough potato in the chips.

Excellent food and delivery time was very fast. A great experience, please note when ordering through just eat the delivery charge is 3.50. If you order through gills own website its only 2.00.

I have ordered from carl gills for months and the last few takeaways have been awful I just ordered a kebab and chips in a bun kids meal it's was that soaked with Greece that you couldn't even taste the food the paper was soaked through all layers of paper and the paper was stuck to my food there was puddles of Greece on It I rang to ask if they could replace it and apparently they can't even though I got a delivery they wanted me to travel down feeling for my money back I don't want my money back its 9pm at night I wanted to eat my foodThe people on the phone tried to say they drained the Greece but they hadn't.no help what so ever.. I have never known of a takeaway bit replacing you meal.

Huge bag of chips, but the fish n cheese savoury all tasted weird, could be the oil used. Also when I unpacked my can of coke was missing

Normally our go to restaurant. Ordered on Just Eat and waited well over an hour for the restaurant to even acknowledge our order. We tried calling an unbelievably amount of times to cancel our order as we had waited long enough with no success via the app. I was just about to leave to go to the restaurant and get them to cancel our order so we can get our money back and before I did they cancelled the order. They have also gone off just eat and still aren't answering the phone. Good quality service 👌Just checked that on their Facebook profile they are closed on New Year's Day... However the key places that people check like Just Eat/Google etc. Had not changed...REPLY TO OWNER - Although I understand you try to defend the restaurant, I don't appreciate you talking to me with a lack of respect. Maybe you should focus on your customer service skills as a priority then your restaurant might improve a bit.The money came out of my bank, I can show you evidence if you wish. I can also show you the chat I had with Just Eat to try and cancel our order... Do me a favour next time, don't think everyone is trying to catch you out, your restaurant isn't anything that special where people will go out of their way to catch you out pal.Cheers

I placed an order and they forgot my garlic i phoned them up and they said they would send the driver down with it. I'm still waiting there usually spot on. Could of offered me my money back if they werent coming back wif it or even a free garlic next order
