Strange texture to the chicken Big plate then spent the evening on the toilet... not good at all. Chicken wing side with oriental sauce, however, was delicious

Nice pub food. Huge choice on the adults and kids menus, but man, I wish they didn't put the calorie values of the meals on there made me feel guilty eating it

Food is outstanding in this place. I go back as often as I can. The staff are the friendliest and most helpful I have ever encountered. My family and I love going here.

Been before and again, met with really friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Nice size meals, food was cooked to our requirements, and the menu seems quite quirky as well. Not far from the Angel of The North either. Bus stop not far away to take you into the city centre. Good location for a pub. Will call again.

This place is beautifully decorated for Christmas and the menus were fantastic, they cater for every age and every allergy and type, the food was so tasty and came out quickly. Definitely recommend this place, the staff are so friendly too, we want to go back again soon.

Food was nothing special, would have done better going to Iceland buying and cooking it myself for a fraction of the price! Staff was their saving grace friendly and polite. Need to use fresh decent produce not cheap frozen scampi & chips.....starter & desert the same, won't rush back sorry

We go pretty often. Quick service, nice food & cheap prices shouldn't ask for more.
