Over 1 hours wait for average food which we weren't made aware of when we entered or I would have left straight away. In my opinion not worth the effort of coming and there are far better places to dine as well as far cheaper. The staff do try hard to accommodate and are pleasant enough. Not impressed

Where to start........Looked up this place online as wanted a carvery tea. Website said there was an offer on, "Kids eat for ÂŁ1". So we travelled....On arrival were told that this Pub wasn't participating in the offer, which to be fair, on checking the website again, was the case, but it wasn't clear, and was not made clear when we looked up this specific pub.We decided to stay anyway......On ordering the Carvery payment was taken, and nothing said about Turkey not being available. The chef gave apologies for no Turkey, as the supplier had failed to deliver. This should have been mentioned when we were shown to the table, and when we ordered and paid. But we are committed now and have hungry children. The gammon and beef were options, but not Turkey. And no alternative third option (Gammon, Lamb etc) was available. The beef was not tender, the gammon was OK.Some of the veg looked like it was in need of refreshing, and there was no cranberry sauce. Now, you may think this obvious as there was no turkey, but again, this was supplier failure and should have been mentioned when ordering. The main benefit/usp of these chain pubs is consistency, knowing what you are getting. This was lost on this visit. Will not be rushing back to this chain as others are available.

Went here today to have a relaxing drink and somewhere for the kids to play. The play area was tired and only suited to children under 5 which was ok. Went to the bar for drinks only to find that a pint or bottle of cider was £5!!! It’s a real shame as we’d have stayed longer but for two drinks and some chips it was a stupid price. We’d have stayed longer maybe if prices were better and the play area more suited to other ages.

We always enjoy eating here. The staff are helpful. The food is very nice. We have the carvery, plenty of choice of meat and vegetables. I believe the price is good as well.

Ordered a takeaway for the first and last time. The carvery: ordered pork and beef - no pork available when I got there, meat dry, veg stewed and roast potatoes a mixture of burnt to a crisp or under cooked! ( Yorkshire pids were good though). Also ordered smothered chicken: chicken so dry and overcooked I couldn't even get a knife through 1/3rd of it, no mushrooms or coleslaw which were meant to be included with the meal. Overall, an experience I will not be repeating.

Been to this restaurant plenty of times but my last two experiences haven’t been great, and my experience today was awful, came in with my pregnant girlfriend, sat down, ordered food and drinks, never told of any wait times or anything, waited for an HOUR for our food after ordering and still received nothing, got up and got a refund and left.Waiting an hour for food is beyond a joke as it is and the fact the restaurant wasn’t even busy when we arrived made it even worse, also we were never approached by ANY member of staff to tell us an update.Shocking.

Took mam here for her 76th birthday. We had the carvery which was delicious followed by a very delicious dessert of fruit crumble and custard for me an banoffee for mam, which combined with the drinks came to a really good price. The location was also good and easy to get to .My only gripe was the staff..there wasn't 1 smile amongst any of them the whole time we were there. They weren't unfriendly but they were also not very welcoming.I'd defo go back for the food but not for the staff.

Didn’t expect much looks like a generic food chain but it was surprisingly good had stuff on the menu I’ve never seen in these places before and it was very nice. Top work cheers.

It's a chain pub. The food is mostly ok even if it took forever to arrive. Prices are pretty reasonable as well.Main complaint was the desert. Seemed to be whipped cream with colouring and no cheese, which is kind of essential in a cheesecake. It was a bloody big bit of "cheesecake" though
