Harry's Traditional Fish & Chips in Gateshead

Ordered, was told delivery would be between 45 min and 1 hour, after 1 hour 20 mins i phoned to see why wasn't delivered, to be told would be with me in a couple of minutes, another 20 minutes later hubby phoned to cancel order, to be told it was on route, received order 10 minutes later, which not surprisingly was cold, well the others ate theres, but my 2 dogs got my Fish, so disappointed, could have saved £26, and had a egg sarnie, which would of been nicer.nicet

It's decent. It got good prices however their portions are too big.It's edible but I'm not overweight so I can't say anything about portions.

Must be the worst fish and chip shop in the North East of England. Months ago I ordered haddock and chips as the fish had to be cooked to order. Waited 30 minutes for my order and when I got home the fish was dry and over cooked. Totally ruined. Today I decided to give them another try so just ordered a bag of chips I mean how can you go wrong. Got home opened the chips and I should have known better.They looked like yesterday's chips reused, they were dark in colour over cooked, hard and chewy and to top it off some of them I couldn't even skewer with a fork.They even hurt your mouth when trying to eat them. I suggest never using this place.

I used to always buy the cod bites and chips but stopped a while ago the fish has very hard and dry and the batter was greasy and hard they had defo been heated up a good few times. The chips used to be lovely there horrible now tiny hard bits very greasy they've defo been off the night defo. Started buying the b b q pizza but rang them up twice the base dough bit was wet sticky and raw.

Always get kebab salad and portion chips and extra pitta bread normally lovley found to night chips warm kebab meat warm which I love salad no onions . No white cabbage very small portion of salad as normally you get a good portion sorry I have to post this but it will still not stop me from coming back

Ordered through just eat it states beefburgers come with fries and pop. They do not come with fries or pop and the shop claims it's an extra £1.50 for the fries and pop and are blaming just eat for this problem on there website. The staff member that answered the phone did not want to help me and basically just put the phone down on me. Will never order from them again

Brilliant food can't fault it,but delivery is always just warm not hot, I like my pizza with stretchy hot cheese not set, and hubby likes hot chips etc so this is why 3 rating

Just ordered a large Keebab wrap with garlic sauce and chips.Got home and no garlic sauce on the wrap.How hard can it be

Place has gone down hill... Wasn't even 8pm and place looked ready to be closed which they do 8:45pm. I was served terrible food and basically the leftovers likes of lukewarm chips, last cuts of the kebab and cold curry sauce and mushy peas... £5.80 Wish I never bothered. Server said will not charge you for small mushy peas as not enough kebab meat left as changing meat, but wasn't really listening, but after looking at my tray of meat at home it was tiny skinny cuts half-full tray, but you charged me full price is outrageous will not be going back. Deducted mushy peas as a supplement... f-off!
