This is one of the most friendliest places with the most tasty food I’ve ever had. The lamb korma is amazing, creamy, fresh ! Just yes! We always get it with the garlic nan. Love this place so much, don’t understand any bad reviews as this place is so perfect.

Gave us the wrong order and tried to still charge me for the full ammount and the food we did get was terrible chicken shocking qaulity meat and currys bland, first time using wont be back

Very comprehensive menu. Was served by the owner who was friendly and very knowledgeable. Excellent food and good prices. The best in the area.

Can't remember the last time I had a takeaway from here so I thought I would give it another go.Can order online which was an ok site to use. Thought about using Deliveroo but decided to do a collection instead due to not being able to specify meat on some dishes.The chicken Balti naan wrap was decent. As was the tikka chicken rogan and garlic naan. A decent price with the online discount but I would happily pay a bit more for better quality meat. And I wish they had lamb instead of mutton. Again, happy to pay for lamb. A low price isn't everything.Will likely use again if I want quick, quite tasty and chicken based.

Outstanding. Arrived quickly still piping hot, nothing missing. Each dish full of flavour, the meats cooked beautifully and the ingredients fresh and crisp. Haven’t eaten here in years but after that performance it’s now the new favourite with this household.

I moved back to gateshead in december and have been on the hunt for a decent Indians, having tried at least 5 and being disappointed I'd almost given up until I walked past this one. I promptly ordered that same weekend using there online website which is extremely easy to navigate and you can pre-order. The food arrived hot and full of flavour, the quality of the chicken is excellent and there was loads of it in the curry which was spiced to perfection. I pre-order the following weekend trying different dishes and was just as impressed. I have now found my new Indian takeaway!

Food arrived with box opened, food spilled all in the bottom of the bag. Phoned to complain was very abrupt on phone no apologies after a lot of arguing offered to send a new meal. 1 hour later still no meal phoned again. Then hung up is & didn’t answer again.

Ordered takeaway on a Sunday night and delivery was over an hour late, 2 hours after we originally placed it. Food was lukewarm when it arrived and was completely tasteless, with hardly any meat in the chicken korma or lamb rogan josh. The peshwari naans may as well have been plain as there was barely any coconut inside and we had a similar problem with the saag aloo, which was almost entirely devoid of spinach. The vegetable samosas were undercooked and the onion bhajis were stone cold and tasted liked they’d been made a week ago. The daal was completely inedible and my partner was very ill throughout the night and next day. I would recommend avoiding entirely and that the Food Standards Agency investigate further.

The journey of our experience: phone was put down before I asked for time of delivery, delivery was then incorrect on a myriad of fronts (1) wrong dips with poppadoms (2) fatty, grisly lamb instead of chicken in a dish. When raising this they were very disgruntled about the dip issue and were not offered anything, with the chicken we were given a replacement meal. The meal took over 25 minutes to arrive so the rest of the family meal was ruined as we wanted to eat together. To those reading this we would not recommend using at all, the dishes were poor quality, VERY oily, did not feel fresh or authentic.All in all, we tried for a first time but this is the last and will be heading back to the Monsun which is far far superior.

Been going here for about 10 years. This award winning takeaway is excellent for quality and value. On Thursday and Sundays there is a 5 course special for £8. Choose a nan, starter, side, rice and main. Really 6 course because you also get salad thrown in. This is enough for 2 if.average.eaters. Recommend the Bombay potato but could eat the curry and nan bread everyday. Always set meals available for £10.
