Lotus Leaf in Gateshead

Last time I order from here...ordered for 7.15pm and came within minutes of ordering. Munchie box was inedible, beef chow mein was full of fat, disgusting.

Ordered food from here tonight with my best friend and honestly the food was awful! Chips were dry as sticks, chicken was slimy and didn't taste like chicken at all.We won't be ordering from here again.

Disgusted with the meal we purchased yesterday. Chips overcooked, rice overcooked, and same as another person's recent review, the Chicken did not look like or taste anything like it should.

Great food.. ready for collection spot on time.. very reasonably priced.. would of gave five stars if my fried rice wasn't missing.. delicious though thank you

Got a takeaway on the weekend and they overloaded it with garlic cloves even no we asked for no garlic in it !! Also the chicken was disgusting it didnt taste like chicken neither!

Lovely friendly place. Parking great. Have been here twice and asked about gluten free food but have never been able to speak to staff about it so limited. Food is always nice though seemed a bit warmed up this evening. Would use again though as usually very good and staff always help at much as they can.

Stayed at hot tub hideaway, orderd a takeaway from here it was absolutely beautiful the best Chinese weve had its a pitty we don't live near here because we would definitely order from here. I would recomend to everyone..

Food is nice, but always late, ordered at 7.30 for 9.30 came at 10.10 with 2 things missing. Its such a let down when only have take away as a treat. Very disappointing response when you ring . Wont be using again.

Last and final time food usually good when hot deliveries as per usual 45 mins late won’t be bothering again, just threw it in bin who wants a cold Chinese better options around and lots of them such a shame won’t use again
