McDonald's in Gateshead

Went yesterday to be told they can't sell me a big mac because there were no big mac boxes I was happy to have it in a bag or a different box they said no it's probably policy but I was aware it would he a bog mac in the box and would have been fine about it however McDonald's refused to serve big macs yesterday

It's was busy, only 2 choices of happy meal which was Surprise, not a Meat Burger on Happy Meal Menue which is a first ever time in all yrs getting Little 1 Happy Meals. Had to buy x2 Saver Menu Burgers and Drink. So that did not go down well with Grand Child, esp as loves her H.M. it it was what it was.

15 minute for a Big Mac Meal and a happy meal. No special requests and was cold when it was eventually brought to car. Wasnt even busy inside as I popped in to toilet whilst we were waiting.

Can't cope with Uber Eats. Have had a lad on bicycle waiting in the car park for 30minutes. Gave him it now hes stood with my order getting cold waiting for another...shouldnt do MacDelivery if they cant manage or cope with the orders. Its the same at Team Valley

Went through the drive thru … took ages for someone to take the order .. order large chicken big ma meal with coke, mozzarella dipper, 9 nuggets and chips and 1/4 pounder .. paid and sat waiting ages to get to collection window!Got to the collection and was handed a regular drink said we ordered a large so the lad gave us a large drink no quibbles! Asked about the fries he said actually you’ve only paid for a medium even though the total was 19.74 … when we got home to eat the food there was no chicken double big man it was. A chicken burger, 6 nuggets and a cheeseburger in a 1/4 box!Attempted calling the restaurant .. no response .. certainly won’t be using that one again

Good food at great prices, always know what you are going to get

So today they said they weren't serving for 10mins and then the next person that went up they served so had to go back in the queue, odd. At Christmas they gave us the wrong order and we had to drive back to swap it. But the other couple of times we went they've been fine and the fries have been nice and hot, so 3 stars cos inconsistent and never know what we'll get

Restaurant is absolutely filthy rubbish left below chairs, stains where drinks have been spilt on tables amd staff ain't been bothered to clean it up, went to order a milkshake when I saw all the syrup and mix all over the base of the machine and floor I took my business elsewhere. Not risking 4 days off ill with food poisoning amd not getting paid for a dump like that!! Ran into the ground by staff who don't care about hygiene etc reported to environmental health you don't even deserve a 1 star rating.

Although my local McDonald's we avoid this branch if possible, the staff are poorly trained and always look over stretched more than likely due to poor Management. The franchise owner should do a covert visit, they'll find chaos! The only savings grace are the two cleaning ladies, they are a credit to your branch. The reason for my comments are, as every order is incorrect and this spans over a year hence why we avoid this branch. The reason why I described the staff as poorly trained as why can't they follow an order and why can't the last person check the full order is there?.... There never seems to be a manager on site that wants to speak with you instead they request any complaints to be made online. The ladies that tidy around have always been helpful and spoken to us and apologised for the mix up. Maybe these ladies should be incharge!

The fries rarely are fresh, literally it was fresh only once. Couple of times it was a total disaster I'll post a photo, the whole thing was dripping in oil I ate some thought I will find better fries under but NO the whole thing was looking like transparent fries, the photo even make it look better than the reality I don't know why, and I don't know how the staff member just didn't mind to serve this to someone to eat!! . And they need to clean their coffee machine. The burger is always cold. Im sure their staff members doesn't want customers to come again.
