Moti Mahal in Gateshead

This place has gone downhill. The paneer cheese was either not fresh or potentially not even paneer. The lamb in the shashlik was hard, chewy and swimming in a greasy sauce and padded out by onions. Very dissatisfied

Unfortunately Since Shohid's sold the Business in my opnion, the food is awful.Tonight we ordered 31.12.2021 Can't even get the Starter's correct. We ordered Chicken Chat and we got Chicken Shashlick..Food overcooked with too much Garlic, literally I could taste it in all the dishes and it was not pleasant.I don't normally leave reviews but I would suggest not ordering from here since the take over.

Asked for something that wasn't on the menu and they delivered. Food was lush too.

Order at 6 45 meal arrived at 8 45 tikka masala had no taste just looked like tomato sauce onion bhaji was dry and hard the pokora was under cooked naan was burnt would never recommend this place

We've lived locally for 10 years now and only discovered this gem recently. Wholeheartedly recommended the food is always spot on, tasty and very fresh. Very nice lamb meat also.
