Nisha's in Gateshead

Fantastic food, and fantastic service. Have used these guys for years, and I can't fault them. Food is always lovely and piping hot, and delivery is always spot on time or slightly early. Staff are always pleasant, and drivers are too.

Have used this in the past as it was great. Unfortunately the most recent visit I found the quality of cooking has deteriorated, one vegetarian course very bland and nan bread under baked. I assume that they've lost the good chef.

Last minute decision to order a takeaway, never used this restaurant before. The meals were delicious. Definitely use again.

Had a Just Eat Delivery from here, arrived early, piping hot and well packaged! I got a few things to try! Spicy Chicken Strips, slightly spicy, very crispy and juicy in the middle! Tandoori Special Kebab Delight,, which consisted of doner meat, lamb kofta?, a giant pokora and tikka chicken which was amazing.. nicely spiced, tender and juicy, would defo order a tikka chicken kebab if it tasted like these did 👍i also got a Garlic Nan which was nice and the main event.. which i didnt like haha! To be honest you cant win them all, everything in it was perfect, there was even a heap load of chicken in it! Its hard to write a review without sounding bad but to be honest it had everything going for it, it was just a taste that i didnt like, everyones taste is clearly different and this was not to mines, which was a real shame because everything was perfect! I think i may order another meal and re review for the future 😁👍👌

If they could put a simple order together that would be nice for a change. Delivery driver was a bit off, Knocks on door & walks back to his car down the street...?Won't be ordering again.

This place has went way down hill, the last few orders i have had have been bad, the last one i ordered, the popadoms were burnt and the tasteless chicken korma had burst in the bag, ruining all of the food..i wrote a review on a previous order, only to get a negative & defensive reply back from the owner..ill listen to my friends and family next time on this place.

Avoid this place like the plague!! Order was totally inedible. The chicken tikka masala resembled a watery mess with a nugget of dry chicken. The onion bhajis were dry and clearly reheated from a previous day. How they have a nerve to charge a premium for this rubbish is shocking.

Once again we can’t fault this Indians they are the best by far. Easy website to order and deliver on time and have never been disappointed. Well done to all.

Our favourite local Indian takeaway. Beautiful food and good portion sizes. The best massala around! We will be moving from the area soon and will be sad to never have another Nisha's.

Pre ordered a large order the night before New Year's Eve and asked for it to be delivered at 7.30pm. Food arrived at 5pm when I was still at work and my wife had no money on her. Phoned the restaurant after 7 attempts to get through who said it was their mistake. Food arrived at 7.30pm...freezing cold!!! If I was a betting man, I'd say it was still the 5pm food!! Not good at all!!
