Piazza Latina in Gateshead

Fantastic can't believe I ve been eating and wasting money else where .. Great group and highly recommended restaurant quality food .not your average take away . Thank you great food if you appreciate proper bait

Pizza takeout last night. Never again. Pizza base was sloppy, undercooked and lukewarm. When I removed the seafood off the top, the base was white and sticky, like dough before it's cooked.

Had a Just Eat delivery from here, it arrived on time hot and well packaged. I got the Fresh Mussels with Garlic and Hot Chilli which was in a tomato and slightly hot sauce..they were delicious. I also had the Chicken Breast in a Tarragon sauce with chips and the House Special Salad, the chicken breast was tender and juicy as was the sauce equally lovely. House Salad was nice too, as for the chips they came in a foil tray which made them soggy which i didn't mind as much as they were propper chips and i dipped them in the tarragon sauce anyway, apart from the chips my meal was really tasty 😁👌👍

Oh my god we’ve lived in Lowfell for 4 years and only just stumbled on this little gem x the pizzas are super delicious super reasonable amd the most Italian tasting pizzas I’ve had that aren’t in Italy x you’d be mad not to try

I came in for a date night on Sunday evening and it was very quiet, but that absolutely did not ruin the general atmosphere of the restaurant, the staff are incredibly likeable and well-mannered, and the food was authentic and gorgeous. The prices are very reasonable, I paid just under £30 for two 3 course meals and drinks. The speed at which we were served the food was fantastic, while still giving us a chance to start digesting our last dish. I have no complaints at all, and I would absolutely recommend anyone dine here for an enjoyable night out with a lovely and intimate atmosphere.

We Have been ordering takeaways from here throughout lockdown and finally tried the restaurant out tonight and sat in. Such a hidden gem, feels like you're in Italy. Top quality authentic Italian food. One of the best meals out I've had for a long time and very very good price too. The owner and staff were all amazing and took the time to chat to us which was a nice touch. Could not reccomend this place highly enough. Can't wait to go back again.

What a Hidden GEM! A Classic piece of History in the North east. We have travelled to Italy and the pizzas are made exactly the same way! Taz the owner was great with our food. Never fails to impressFor those wanting to try a true taste of Italy without flying there ... this is No.1 place to go!!

We never go anywhere else for pizzas! A really nice thin base and amazing taste. I always get the napolitana with a touch of extra garlic.... Beautiful! Pasta dishes are always great too; I'm a little bit on the fussy side so tend to ask for a combination and it's never a problem. The sauces are so delicious and fresh. If you're looking to order a takeaway over the next few weeks I would highly recommend giving this place a go.

Lovely little restaurant with a friendly relaxed atmosphere and the food is top notch! A three course meal definitely won't break the bank and that's including the drinks!Fillet steak pizzaola is tremendous! The sauce is fabulous, plenty of flavours and contains plenty of capers which I love! The chips are proper homemade chunky chips!The black pudding in peppercorn sauce is very good also!
