Love this Chinese takeaway. Beef in black bean sce is my partners favourite. I love there chicken balls there lush!!!!

Chips were well over cooked and burnt, prawn toast was dry like cardboard and never had curry sauce with as many gloopy lumps in it. Dustbin food, would not recommend

Incredibly disappointing.They delivered food to the wrong address and our neighbours had to bring it to us. When we got the food they had missed a substantial portion of the order. We called and they refused to deliver the missing food for free and tried to charge us another £5 for delivery.The food we did receive was average at best and cold. The girl on the phone was left to deal with trying to sort our problems whilst the manager refused to speak to us. This is such a shame a we were regulars when it was Gracey's and never had a bad experience.Promised a refund for the missing food, still waiting.Avoid at all costs

Just had a meal from here delivered to ryhope for the first time I'm it was hot but it was supposed to be Cantonese style source was that thick it was not like Cantonese sauce it was disgusting and the noodles that been fried in that much oil oil.and have not been able to eat my food so won't be using this restaurant again absolutely diabolical I wasted over £14

Cold food. Sauce was more like wallpaper paste. Hair in my curry. Absolutely disgusting. Never again

Got given the wrong order, tried to ring for over an hour but couldn't get through so basicaly paid a fortune for the wrong order and food that tasted contaminated! Fuming!

Great tasting food of House Special Chop Suey. The beef was what I would expect. It came with chips which just needed some salt.

Ordered food didn’t arrive , received a call that they hadn’t got our post code. Gave post code and food still didn’t arrive. Rang them they said he’s on his way. Still didn’t show. Was starting to think a holiday In China would have been quicker and easier. Then the delivery guy rang and said he’s outside our house. We said your not because we can’t see you... still contemplating a holiday being quicker.Delivery driver said your not in and we replied we are in but your at the wrong house!Then the girl at the shop rang us and said he’s telling her we’re out.. seriously we’re still waiting at this point and she could probably hear our television.Then we get a text saying where are you.So we replied and she said do not reply this is not rainbows number.We decided that we should go to our usual Indian takeaway.. it’s forhans and wonderful.We feel puzzled and hope the delivery guy found his way back to work alright.We can however recommend garmins satnavsIt’s such a shame because we were told about rainbow by a friend of the family.Mistakes happen but we fail to understand why any of this is our fault and didn’t appreciate the attitude when we politely advised you to cancel our order..

I ordered from here at 21:02, they said it would be half an hour, no sign after 45 minutes so I rang back up to be told it was just leaving the shop, for it still not to turn up until 22:37( baring in mine I live 15 mins away by car) and to top it off the driver didn’t even carry change with him, when we eventually got our food the gravy was extremely watery and just utterly disgusting, and the curry was horrendous! Never ever again will I order from here it’s gone totally down hill!

Absolutely awful service!!! Ordered food from hungry house at 20.30 and got confirmation that the order went through, we waited till 21.45 and still no sign of the food. We rang them at 21.45 and were told that our order was on the way and would be with us in a few minutes so we waited a bit longer. Got to 22.10 and still no sign so we rang again to be told that our order had not been processed (which it had as we have confirmation) the man on the phone was very rude and told us they haven't done the order. I'd advise anyone to not order from this place as the service is appalling so I can't imagine the food being much better.
