Ravensworth Arms in Gateshead

Visited the pub for Sunday lunch. We didn't have a booking but they fitted us in immediately despite us arriving at the same time as a very large family group. The service from all the staff was great and included table service. We both had vegetarian options and the food was very good (although the Yorkshire pudding wasn't a good as my wife's, lol) Good menu range and quick service. Will certainly visit again when back in the area.

Great sized room with a huge and very comfy bed. Everything was creaky but we were in the inside rooms above the bar so it was kind of expected. I'm sure the rooms in the outer buildings would have been a little quieter. Check in was easy and friendly. Great location, just a short drive into gateshead.

Fantastic service, lovely food- the sea bass and scallops risotto was beautiful! 6 of us in tonight and every one of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals! We will be back soon!

We have just done a 2 night stay in this beautiful pub. The bar staff, the reception, the cleaning lady were all so lovely and attentive. The food was really nice, breakfast was really good value. The outside area is surrounded by trees and it was lovely listening to the birds. Plenty of parking. We will definitely be back, thank you x

Booking was easy. Food was tasty. Staff were pleasant. Service on a busy Saturday evening was very slow. Waiting time for food was an hour. Ordered pudding and had to cancel cos it took too long! Wheelchair accessible entrance

Beautiful pub/restaurant with attentive staff, food was amazing and beer was perfect! Been a few times and never been disappointed.. would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for beautiful surroundings and top notch food.

Enjoyed a lovely lunch and glass of wine with my Mam last week. The team were lovely. The service and food were too. We'll definitely come back!

Really nice experience! The food was very good. The people super friendly. The pub is clean, neat and very nicely decorated. They're also dog friendly and there is a short walk right next to the parking area for doggies to stretch their legs before/after a meal. Highly recommended - we will visit again!

A great place to stay. The restaurant and rooms have been recently refurbished. The restaurant is large with many different places to sit, beautifully decorated in mixed upholstery fabric giving a modern shabby chic look. The atmosphere was comfortable and relaxed. The food was good and staff always professional and pleasant. We stayed for six days and used our Tesco vouchers for food which was straightforward. We will definitely return. Easy access to A1. A great place for Sunday lunch.
