For all newcomers going to Sainsbury shops try this make a list of things you want and go to your local Sainsburys, and do a pre shop not to buy anything just fined the items you want and how long it takes you. It took me an hour and half in the local store .

A good sized sainsburys, well hidden and lacking in directing signs from main road (luckily we were following GPS). Loads of parking, well laid out and normal food, clothing and house hold goods.Easy assess and parking for mobility impaired.

I went to sainsburys because I had a load of nectar points to use and Google said I could pay for my shopping with my points. The staff were incredibly helpful and accepted my points as payment for my shopping with no problem. Defo going to go there again as there's so much choice and now I can use my nectar points.

During a calendar year I visit many supermarket's. Mainly Asda, Waitrose, Lidl, Aldi and M&S and I've never had cause for complaint. However, during my last ten visits to this store I've left totally annoyed on seven occasions. It all revolves around customer service and I can, if requested list each instance, all in different area's of the store. I have visited the Sainsbury's in Newcastle city centre and the service there rates five star.

Have not been here for a good while, quite busy and only 2 tills manned but opened another one as I was paying for my shopping.Think I picked wrong time as quite a few people were there with scholars, but overall it wasn't a bad experience.

Shop at Sainsburys frequently. Staff always very helpful and products generally good quality. Have to say queues at the tills are ridiculous, not enough on! I find myself having to use the self serve which is a pain when you have lots of shopping. Also only one member of staff on the self serve, poor thing was run ragged authorising sales and rectifying problems. More staff needed!!!

Nice shop. One of the smaller ones, so not a big range if clothes and home stuff. But you can do a full weekly shop there.

·

It's a huge supermarket, you'll get everything you want on groceries in here. Also, their workers can easily guide you to the shelf that contains your preference.

I was assisted with a problem I had with my prescription encashment, as I was only visiting this area. The pharmacy was very helpful in ensuring that it could be transferred electronically from my home GP. I was surprised to see a large kosher section and entry of foreign foods.

Sorry only 3 star's as the cafe is no longer a cafe but a coffee shop with prepacked food/sandwiches to be heated up in a grill/oven which are not the best tasting hot sandwiches. I miss the breakfast along with other choices of hot food .
