Love coming here on a Friday with my baby after a walk, food is really really tasty as is the coffee! Prices may appear a little expensive but very fair considering the quality, they do the nicest moist brownies ever! They're huge too! Very friendly staff too!

While out for a wander along to the Staithes, we discovered this cafe. We were impressed with the range of food/drinks available. My husband and I both had some food and hot chocolate drinks with all the toppings. The prices are a bit high, but, it was well worth it.There's also artworks available to buy from local artists and other interesting things. The staff were busy but welcoming. It's definitely a great place to stop while out walking. Will definitely stop here again.

Great cafe, good selection of food and drinks. Plus great pop up nights. The new covered deck area looks fab and adds needed extra seating as it's a popular cafe.

First time I had been here. Great menu, lots of choice and breakfast all day! Portions are a good size and everything made fresh. Would recommend.

Absolutely lovely place. Staff are really friendly and the food is so tasty. I had the chicken, bacon n cheese toastie. Great views of the river and relaxing friendly atmosphere. Will be going again.

Lovely small cafe on the Tyne with views across to Newcastle. Just discovered yesterday and I've been back today. Staff really nice, friendly and so helpful. Dogs welcome too.Good selection of savoury and sweet foods. Well worth a visit whilst out for a walk.

Tiled floors and zinc staircase rails with safety cables and track lighting with high ceilings are a kind of post industrial loft like look. And unlike this review the place is not pretentious. Well staffed counter ordering and paying and orders bought to tables. Mix of arm chairs, sofas and straight backed table seating. Upstairs gallery area with good views. Large latte, flapjack and fruit scone with jam just over six quid. Fresh baked goods and hot dishes. Really popular, and deservedly so. Loved it. Splendid river walks, and views of the Staaiths are a bonus.

Decent breakfast and a beautiful location. Lovely inside with two floors, lots of fantastic local artwork on the walls and it’s even pet friendly which is handy. Only downside is the parking, such a busy location it’s a nightmare to park.
