Superchef in Gateshead

Great food, cooked in an open kitchen, always tastes nice and fresh, its my favourite Chinese takeaway, the only thing not giving it 5 stars is its a little lacking in selection, only a little bit though.

food was ok, what i like about this placevis you can actually watch them cooking your food, however the seatimg area and deco needs a touch of paint

The food from superchef is delicious never had a bad meal from hear and the chill and salt chips are beautiful

We order every week never had any problems food is always hot and delicious, until last week when we received the wrong order but not to worry these things happen and ate it anyway. When we ordered this week they remembered us even tho we didn't complain and said your order will be at a reduced price which was very much appreciated but when it was delivered there was no charge . So I would like to say thank you super chef and keep up the good work

Absolutely awful. The taste was disgusting. The quality was extremely poor. Never ever again. I only went here because my usual one just down the road was constantly engaged and I had been trying for 20 minutes so I thought I would give it a try and I really wish I did not. The food quality is awful the chips are run of the mill frozen chips not them nice crispy chunky chips you get from the Chinese usually and the order was over £20 and did not even get any free prawn crackers. Never again!

Best Chinese take away you'll find in the area, everything cooked infront of you, family ran business of 25 years. Lovely people and food is just amazing, never ever had a bad meal from here. Beautiful 👌🏻

First time we have ordered from this takeaway last night food was delicious best we have ever had from any Chinese and we have tried many .We live in washington but thought we'd give this a try as birtley is just up the road so pleased we did as the whole order was amazing thank you ,we'll definitely be back.

My favourite Chinese takeaway. You can watch the chef cook the food because the kitchen is open plan which gives you confidence in the food. Not many takeaways allow you to see that. The staff are friendly and food tastes great.

Ordered food it took an hour to arrive maybe longer, also they'd brought the wrong food that I asked for. I got king prawn chow mein with beef chow mein instead of what I asked for which was chicken and beef!! Curry isn't nice either. Will not be ordering from here ever again !!

Worst chinese ive ever had! We ordered here because our normal take away " park lane" was closed.Anyways the chowmein was tastelessThe chips were dry inside like they had been re-heatedAnd the prawn crackers tasted stale. Worst take away ive ever had will not be going back
