Great meeting place. Staff very good

Very friendly staff and guests. Brilliant bar and selection of alcohol, with great entertainment on. Facilities were spot on as well, and easily accessible to the city centre.

Nice atmosphere in the bar staff all very friendly Sunday dinner was nice.

We had our daughter’s birthday party hosted in the hotel. It was amazing. The owners (Helen and Heather) are very friendly and helpful. The decoration was cozy. The service was amazing. We would love to thank Paul for his great hospitality. The food was great and the prices were reasonable. The tea and cake station was a hit. The cakes were delicious. Everything was wonderful and everyone enjoyed the party. Thanks a lot for helping us to have an unforgettable party. 🤗

Frozen fast food, dirty kitchen, some of their staff are really rude but not all. Staff and customers are not wearing masks, no social distancing, poor hygiene. Staff and customers smoking in back bar and the kitchen area is thick with grease, on shelves and surfaces, needs a really good clean. Check ya glass, usually covered in lipstick, and all dishes are washed in the sink, not in a dishwasher. No disabled toilets, the whole downstairs could do with a good clean, don't know about the rooms upstairs, never stayed as a guest. The bar manager he is rude and grumpy, you can't use your debt card unless you spend more than £10 and if your outside they want you to give them your bank card if it's chip and pin.
