Gammon steak, egg and chips was very nice. Decent price as well, came in a reasonable time scale also. Nice pint of Stella. I think they must have changed the chips as they were really good. Customers the usual mix of families, couples and contractors. Good if you've got young children as there is a soft play area. Loads of parking, cheap, cheerful and nicely cooked food. I hope it's this good next time I go.

The food is reasonably priced, with a two meals for £9 offer if you eat before 6pm, Monday to Friday. The food can be hit and miss with quality, but for the price it's great. I would recommend the fish and chips, excellent portion size and very tasty. The staff are very friendly and the place is clean.

Wow we were looking for somewhere to go regular that was cheap and cheerful, don't get me wrong the staff were lovely, the girl when we booked asked if we had a voucher, when I said no she asked me if I wanted one. Menu looked ok so ordered a 3 course for the 2 kids, and we ordered burgers and a couple of starters, the chips were lovely but that as far as it went, coldslaw was the cheap kind that was very vinegar in flavour which was the same with the mayo. The brownie could have patched a brick wall it was that hard, when I asked how it was prepared because it was so hard, hot but frozen in the middle?? They brought a replacement that was half the size and half the ice-cream. Staff were lovely but don't think I will be using my loyalty card I signed up with when I was there.

Went for the carvery. That's about all.Not sure what cut the beef was, but it wasn't beautiful and tender. It was tough and chewy. Worst part of the meal. The rest was ok. What you expect of a carvery place. If you are in the area and considering a carvery goto the Toby a couple of minutes away

play area closed. No notification of this on website. Waited ages to be seated, no one explained that food had to be ordered at bar So waited a further 10 mins before having to go find a member of staff only to be told thus. lots of items on menu not available. We won't be going back

Came here at 4.30 on a Sunday for the carvery, only to be told they don't do them any more and haven't don't so for a while. A miserable young lad then showed us to our table, ( where they advertise The Sunday Carvery ) we ordered at the bar, when food arrived we asked for BBQ sauce ( the same lad who sat us down) yea I 'll just get some. It never arrived. Then ordered a dessert at the bar, also didn't arrive, chased it up, and it arrived, already the Ice cream was melted and thd chocolate sauce was at the bottom, it had obviously been stood in the kitchen...Would I go again NO

An absolute delight, service was excellent, all of it given with a smile, we were lucky that it was not very busy as it was early afternoon, I had a burger which is the best burger I ever had, nothing fancy just a burger cooked to perfection. My wife had a chicken with bacon that was delicious too (as I had to grab a taste), we took advantage of 2 main meals for 8.99 which was a complete steal, we even order desserts and refillable fizzy drink and refillable coffee and we paid less the £20, looking forward to going back again.

We ate here before checking in at the adjoining Premier Inn and then again for breakfast. Easily the best Brewer's Fayre we've visited. Immaculate, staff are fantastic and the food was delicious.
