TGI Friday's - Newcastle-upon-Tyne in Gateshead

Very slow to take our order, and when it arrived (after being seated for an hour with two grumpy kids) they had the wrong side orders and so me and hubby ended up waiting even longer... I think our bill was even wrong in the end bit we just had to leave and get the kids to bed. Food was OK, but not so amazing I'd be back.

Love this restaurant! Always super friendly staff! Always on top form when giving refills for our drinks every time we go! Food is amazing always aswell!

Very disappointed with the quality of food and the approach from management.Nachos we’re great, couldn’t fault, however what was served after was nothing short of awful. The mozzarella dippers on the burger were so burnt and dried out the cheese was no where to be seen. Remnants of the scorch were on the burger which meant it was uneatable. The server did bring out new dippers, but the confidence in quality of the rest the burger was gone. Ordered the brownie sundae and it had a hair in it (see picture). Manager came over with the bill, yet we wernt ready to leave. So made to feel we wernt welcome and told us they’d refund the sundae. After making her aware of all the issues we were just told sorry about that but still expected £90 to be paid. Once the bill was paid and made to feel that we had to leave the manager and the server stared us out the building and clearly talking about us. Put a downer on the whole evening and made to feel that we were in the wrong. Feel conned out of what would of been a lovely get together with friends who I’d not seen in a very long time.

Today we had the nicest food and the friendliest of service from the lovely Georgia. She was friendly, natural and sincere and her work ethic was incredible. It was a great experience. Thank you.

Normally alright, can be super slow at times either when it’s really busy or extremely quiet. Prices are average for what you get but the points make it worth it. Food can be hitty missy, the last lot of potato skins we had were burnt and had no filling (tried to raise this with the server but she picked up the plates and left so quickly that we didn’t have the chance). Overall we would return again, the issues above don’t really bother us massively and we would always raise any food problems given the chance.

Ordered a burger and steak burger was cold and half cooked chips were cold too. Steak was good tbf got a refund on the burger. Wont be going back.

Very nice burger! Very well made, quality ingredients. Sloppy, delicious and covered in gravy. Chips were also EPIC. TGI's is very pricey for what it is though

Whatever you do don’t order fajitas take a look at the cold raw veg that you get, staff are no where to be found and don’t check everything is ok with the food, I ended up eating the four mini wraps with the warm chicken in. This probably means I’ll never go in a tgi Fridays again!

The burgers are very tasty it's definitely down to their unique sauce which is amazing dipped with chips or lathered on the burger. The staff in here we're all friendly just a shame when we wanted to pay for the bill you couldn't find them to call over.
