was there with my wife and a 2 year old and another couple.we ended up in thaikun in hopes of some good thai food.so after getting a table we were left alone for 25 mins without any staff come to take na order.finally place an order for few drinks starters and mainslong island ice tea - waste of money do not trypork ribs - was nice but too dry from outtom yum soup- it was nice cant complain or compare...pad thai - very disappointed was too dry and no sause provided any kind what so ever. not recommendedchicken spring roll - was nice felt like a frozen one but didn't taste bad only 3 piece for the price of probably 3 frozen packets in super market.overall we were made to wait 15mins to get our drinks after waiting 25mins for the order to bw taken another 55 mins for the food to come all at once.one time experiencegood ambience something different from other placesthe staff were good but under staffed one server serving 10 or more tables so cant blame them for the delays.. over all one time visit is good if u doing nothing or just want to spend some time in a busy mall.they can do better with time and food being Thai rest pad thai should be excellent not average.

Not majorly impressed but food was okay. I ordered the street rice with Chicken which was advertised as £11.50 on the menu in the restaurant then when I ordered I was informed that the price for the prawn and chicken were the wrong way around so it was £13 instead. The area we were in did not have a nice smell and the toilet doors had gaps in them which you could see through. We signed up for some discount and for it to be added the waiter had to take our phones away which I felt was odd. Other than that the food was okay and the service wasn’t too bad. I probably won’t return though.

Thaikun was delightfull.Lovely decor and atmosphere. Venue 10/10Tom yum soup and Tom kha soup , both ordered as a starter but it was so bloody big I couldn't eat anything else had to take mine home! It was about £9 which is expensive for a starter so don't be fooled it's deffo a main! The Tom yum was lovely 😍Massaman and chilli cashew fried chicken. Both dishes were amazing 9/10 for both.Melon cooler smoothie was to die for , perfect consistency and all the flavours came through. 10/10 for smoothie.@scranbibles Instagram

First time visiting this restaurant and my first Thai meal. Food and service fantastic and reasonably priced. The only let down was the soft drinks nearly £4 for large fanta that when arrived looked very weak and watered down. Obviously not enough syrup going into the soft drinks, didn't bother complaining hopefully just a one off. Will be returning in future.

Great Thai food with lovely staff. The food was a bit salty, and they didn't ask for any allergies.

Thai food but not authentic. Asked for TomYam and was told that it had not been delivered which suggests that it is packet food, hardly authentic because TomYam takes a few minutes to prepare and cook. The food we did get was OK but again not authentic. We asked for extra spicy but got just a few pieces of chilli sprinked on top, not cooked into the food as it should be. Overall pretty bland food when Thai food is really supposed to be a fusion of different spices and tastes.

Wonderful food, it was our first visit after good review from friends. Everything was spot on. Enjoyed it thoroughly. hoping to visit again. They have kids menu as well.

I'm absolutely Impressed by the food from this restraunt, if you've been to wagamama know that this place is 5 levels above and the taste of the food and flavours is next to none! The sauces are strong the dishes are very good portion sizes. Two let downs the first being the starter which comes in a box and costs a staggering £16 because you can only order it as a two didn't make sense to me or my wallet...

An ABSOLUTE must !Thaikhun is an amazing thai restaurant with a great authentic menu of Thai cusine. The style inside is very northern Thailand ( to where I have been anyways)Real Thai chefs, preparing your meal to order and you can actually see them cook too.Friendly but not intrusive wait staff.Last but not least the FOOD!AMAZINGLY GOOD is all you can really say about Thaikhun. I would order the entire menu if I could eat it all!!!More expensive then if you were in Thailand but well worth the experience.I cannot say anything remotely bad about this restaurant. If you are in Metrocentre, visit THAIKHUN for a real authentic Thai experience.
