The Bank Bar Bistro in Gateshead

Food can be hit and miss, it doesn't seem to have found out what it wants to be yet. Tapas? Thai? Traditional British? At least there's something for everyone.

Lovely meal one of the best I've had in a while & a really good Yorkshire pudding,£21 for a 3 course meal so not massively expensive but for what you got it was excellent,full of flavour & more than enough portion wise

We were sadly disappointed with our first visit today. We tried a cocktail which had little alcohol content and mostly crushed ice. Not worth £8 each. The venue is lovely, the food looked great and we probably will revisit, but not for cocktails.

Great food very well presented, excellent staff. Maybe best to leave the aircon off during February

Went to a party on the second floor, and it was stunning! Excellent service, food and vibe. It's a beautiful venue, highly recommended

Just the most fantastic food on New Year's Eve from lovely Tom Yam soup, the biggest and most delicious Tempura King Prawns to the delicious Salmon and the most amazing individual Beef Wellington! Thank you to the Chefs, Vicky & all the fabulous staff All the very best for 2022 : )

Loved it. First visit. Food and service were great. Disable access was fab apart from I could bring my wheelchair all the way into the table to eat due to the central leg. It meant I had to lean right over or face dropping food all over my lap.The lad and lass that served us were great. Hats off to them.

Fantastic food and amazing service from the start.Very clean and stunning bar setting.All areas are clean.The menu is nice,something for everyone.Recommend the chicken & fish and chips.The staff are so well presented in some of the best catering hospitality Iv seen in years. Manors and professionalism,Giving you Just the right amount of table service between meals.Fantastic.
