Had the breakfast it was very nice. Not a very big car park but there is parking just up the road.

This is I personally think the best wetherspoons in the north side of the UK.

Good place to go for beer. Plenty range, decent price, not blaring with music so you can hear friends.always clean

Well there's posh wetherspoons and theres not so posh wetherspoons..This is an awesome wetherspoons..its massive and off the main rd in Whickham so you cant miss it. I had a few pints whilst waiting for a lift home..whilst there i was welcomed & served by a lady with a nice smile & manner about her..the food that was coming from the kitchen looked very nice & plentiful..Theres lots of beers-ales to choose from and it wasnt that packed. I managed to take a few pics but didnt want to attract attention to my self..i managed tofund the loo and Wow what a swanky loo, even got a fireplace 😲🍻👍..marks outta 10 i give it an 13/10 yes i will most certainly be going back..🍻😁

Nice decor, comfy surroundings, pleasant staff with a reliable choice of food and drink. Dont forget to get a free parking permit at the bar is you're parked outside in a yellow bay. It's a £70 fine if you don't

My friend and I (50's+) had two drinks. Our 3rd drink we ordered using the app. After a good while, my friend went to ask where the drinks were and was told they won't be long. A couple of minutes later a person came and said they have refunded our money as they feel we had too much to drink. Outrageous. 2 drinks in. Young person that brought our receipt was young and didn't want to speak to us when asked how he came to that conclusion he just walked away Power crazy. Won't be drinking there again x

My wife and i were here on Saturday 09/10/21. We both ordered the 10oz rump steak (without onion rings) absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly (medium rare) for us 👍🏻

At the day and time we were there this is a very well used Spoons pub in a very large old building that otherwise would have been turned into flats or demolished. As it is, it's a meeting place for the locals and a cheap place for families to eat. Only went into one side on the left which is a large bar area with still a lot of perspex dividers between the tables. Situated just off the main road with a few parking places in front of the building. Also a large outside sitting area at the front. Your typical Spoons pub but worth going just to see the building inside and out. An odd feature in the upstairs mens loo.

Breakfast was good if a little cold. Unfortunately no car parking as they were doing a charity car wash. In such a built up residential area it made it difficult to get in and out

Lovely friendly atmosphere and clean and tidy pub. Breakfast is reasonably priced and really good food. Fast service and unlimited hot drink refills. Fab!
