This place is great value as kids meals are currently only £1 with each adult meal which totally helps us having three kids 😅 Good food, great pricesand friendly staff Window seats also have cracking view over Tyne

Pub was very clean. We were served by Donna. Donna was very polite and very chatty when serving she managed to upsell products to us.

Had lovely sausage mash then caramel n apple crumble ice cream n custard staff lovely didn't wait long will definitely be back 😋 😀

Friendly and uplifting atmosphere, great food, staff were very polite, was served by Olivia who was very friendly, will definitely be coming back.

I don’t know if it’s a new chef as the menu has changed but normally really enjoy the chicken and ribs combo which isn’t available anymore. Ordered pizza, big mistake! Pizza had a pool of grease in middle which I had to use a bit of paper to soak up but mainly the crusts we’re absolutely cremated black!! Sorry but where are the standards sending this out to a paying customer?😠😠really disappointed normally lovely from here as we come regularly but it’s clear standards are non existent now! Wish I never bothered coming, I’m no chef but I’d be embarrassed sending that out to a paying customer.

We went hoping for Sunday lunch but because of a new menu they were not serving that yesterday. We were not disappointed though with what we did order and will most certainly be back again. Lovely food and staff.

Just popped in for quick drink as we were passing by. Very friendly and welcoming staff and customers.

Great pub grub at 4pm on a Sunday.. Steaks, scampi... the usual stuff. Family friendly. Good prices and great friendly service by staff who obviously enjoy their job. A refreshing change!The views down the Tyne valley are worth an entry fee. Cant wait to go back.

Came for lunch on Saturday.everything was brilliant. All staff were welcoming and attentive and food was lovely, nicest salad I have had. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Please ignore silly name but had a lovely night at the highwayman great value for money and lovely hospitality and service from Chloe! Very friendly and made a very welcoming atmosphere to myself and my girlfriend. Also was great recommending drinks to us and being a great hostess to a brilliant night. Look forward to returning !!
