Great night out at Ray's Karaoke- very friendly atmosphere, and the food was delicious- loads of a variety of tasty dishes at a very reasonable price!

We went for a Sunday lunch here this weekend (5th September) and it was delicious. The staff were so polite, friendly and attentive from booking over the phone and throughout our visit. The food was delicious, great portion size of Sunday roast and the veg was amazing too.Desert was unreal, I got the crumble and it was so good!Highly recommend.

Appalling food. Unwelcoming. Grim experience.Dismal meal. Unprofessional, very basic, meals-on-wheels-esque.Home-cooking would have been better, wish had saved my money. Artificial looking and tasting slices of (canned? or frozen?) meat. All ingredients looked like they had been under warmer-lights for hours. Feeble portion of roast-Potatoes were COLD and looked 24hrs old! dried and shrivelled! Overdone beef, mostly literally inedible.Service; Parts of the order did not appear, had to send a reminder.Rude, patronising, matron-like ‘senior staff’.Serious disappointment for a meal in this day and age, maybe passable in the 1960/s70s at a rough working men’s. Actually makes today’s Wetherspoons seem upmarket. Also, no privacy from other punters.A ruined afternoon.in fact, most WRETCHED pub meal in MY LIFE and I’ve been around. This wouldn’t have happened in a city or town as opposed to a remote village. They think they can get away with it because the limited choice locals probably don't complain. Sad situation.Abysmal experience. AVOID THIS awful PLACE.Left with a bad taste in the mouth in more ways than one.

Always been a great bar with great beer selections and locals. Owners Lorna and Stephen have always been nothing but friendly. Admittedly haven't tried the food as much as I'd wished but when I have it's been lovely.

Excellent food, great service from friendly staff. Nice personal touch from Lorna and Kinga. We had the Thursday special of two steaks and a bottle of wine for £25. The steaks were excellent as were the 'PROPER' chips. The deal is well worth the money. Keep up the good work!!!
