Probably the saddest full English I've ever been served anywhere, especially for the price. The one egg was so undercooked at the top that the egg yolk was practically swimming in the raw egg whiteHalf a whole tomato served seemingly rawBacon so undercooked that it might as well have still been attached to the pigBaked beans nuked in the microwave for so long that the tomato sauce somehow dried up completelyThe only semi redeeming quality of this depression-inducing breakfast were the fried baby button mushrooms, of which there were a whopping three.

A lovely cafe with a welcoming atmosphere. Great to visit with babies/kids but equally nice without them! The food is llovely - I particularly like the full English breakfast and my daughter loves the pizza bagel. And the cakes are delicious too! I've attended a lot of the baby groups and classes since having my two children and they have been a lifesaver whilst on maternity leave, it's been great to meet other mums who live near me.

Lovely setting for mother's and children. Very friendly staff. Lots of crafts. Halloween party, Santa's visit, wreath making etc all managed perfectly. We'll worth a visit.

Such a lovely experience today. Brilliant child friendly cafe with excellent coffee and cake (my blondie was divine) and really lovely welcoming staff. The food looks amazing too - we will have to come back to try it!

Absolutely gorgeous food. Everything is very clearly of an excellent quality. Nice walk from Saltwell Park. We had a jacket with beans and cheese, avocado crushed on a bloomer with poached egg and bacon and a pulled pork and cheese pinini. I'm not easily impressed when it comes to food and I was very very happy. The cakes and deserts are amazing and my little 3 year old was also very happy. Thanks for a great lunch.

Very beautiful cafe for families with kids. Food is excellent and fresh. They have specific menu for kids ( smaller portions and lesser prices)The little play area is wonderful for different ages. Kids can play while you enjoy a relaxing time with wonderful coffee

Friendly staff and reasonable prices but coffee not fantastic. Ordered an americana, espresso shot was done first and water put on top and was way too much water, asked for replacement but it was done exactly the same. Also tables are regularly not cleaned even when the place is quiet. I love the place it is perfect to bring my toddler and would just like to offer some constructive criticism.

Came to The Nest after a trip to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, I googled closest cafes from the hospital. This cafe is a Hidden gem of a place, the breakfast was delicious, we had eggs benedict 👌 and the coffee was excellent quality. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed our visit.

So disappointed today after many great visits. Food for me & my son served 30 mins after my friend got hers (ordered at the same time); wrong food arrived so had to be sent back - another 10 mins delay - and both of us agreed that the food wasn't pleasant at all. Veggie breakfast - tasteless, horribly slimey fried egg, cold toast and had to specially request the butter. Not offered condiments - asked for them but they never arrived. Coffee was served in an ordinary glass - not an insulated one - so you can look at it but not actually pick it up to drink it!! It's either a new chef or lower quality food supplier that's the problem I guess. The food was always the draw (toy area is basic) so it's lost its shine for me :-(

Great place to take young kids, lots of young ladies with babies. So not great if you want to avoid all the youngsters! Nice room up stairs for hire, used for various classes.
