Good place to either catch up with friends for a drink or meal. Either way you won't be disappointed

Soup was delicious. No butter was provided so had to ask. come to the table rock solid so was hard to spread on bread. Ordered mince and dumplings and wanted to pay extra for a Yorkshire. I didn't get the extra. It was served instead of a dumpling. Then to find the Yorkshire was frozen. I asked for a new one. I received a Yorkshire that come out of a microwave that made it rubbery. My friend asked for a roast dinner. To find it was bland with no seasoning and Yorkshire pudding was rock solid, that he needed a steak knife to cut into it. Service was hit and miss. One staff at the bar needs to listen a little bit more to get the order right. The waitress were fantastic. Chefs need to be sacked or taught how to cook.

Always return back to the stone trough. Best pub grub going the menu has always been good however they have took the tandoori chicken wrap off the menu which was delicious. I also wanted the thai basket meal they done but that was no longer on the menu... so I opted for the salt and chilli chicken which was a 7/10 . Prices are decent , chips look the part but are lacking in flavour. Not sure if there was a new chef or different with it being lunchtime . No complaints just had better fold from here 😌 staff are great 👍

Just a great place to go! The best food no matter what you fancy they'll be serving it, so delicious & spoilt for choice whether it's a meal for 2 or a big gang of you. Great place for a party night they have another room too. Always served by wonderful, happy friendly staff 😊.

Lovely food. Friendly staff. I didn't realise I had to make a reservation to eat in but they managed to accommodate seven of us.

Had the two course lunch special here and it was delicious. Ordered the potato skins as a starter and they were delicious and then the roast of the day, which came with a huge Yorkshire pudding and loads of gravy and veg, perfect! Definitely recommend this place.

OMG where do I start, the staff are absolutely great nothing is a bother, the food is delicious, good value & good portions. Everything is very clean, the atmosphere is vibrant, friendly, relaxed & awesome. Everything gets a 10/10 from me everytime. X

Lovely food and atmosphere! I had the Chicken Gyro and my partner had the pizza burger - both were lovely. Very reasonably priced too. Will definitely be returning!

Great to be able to eat indoors again. Really busy - nice to see - however longer than usual wait for food but when it arrived we thoroughly enjoyed it - staff still lovely.....no change there 😊
