Old fashioned real ale pub. Good atmosphere. Recently changed management & decor. Still has good beer and warm welcome. Worth a visit for sure.

Great little pub, cozy and welcoming. Couple of good casks on, toasties to order, open fire; a really chill scene. Wouldn't like to brave the journey to the gent's out in the yard when it's raining, however!

Decent local bar good selection of beers, a nice coal fire in the bar not the cheapest but reasonable prices but quiet but most bars are in early January

This old fashioned pub is a fantastic place, you always get a warm welcome and beer that is kept in perfect condition.It has a great atmosphere with open fires in both rooms, the back room being a little snug area.Great at Christmas when the salvation are come and squeeze into the pub for a sing along.
