The Yellow Teapot in Gateshead

Had a lovely lunch at the yellow teapot Whickham,Good food, great prices and friendly staff.

Great cooked breakfast and good value. Really nice cup of tea too.

The Yellow Teapot were able to provide afternoon tea for 8 with a weeks notice as it was for a gathering after a funeral. They were so helpful and it was all arranged within the space of a few hours. So easy to pay over the phone as well and they even delivered it on the day. Excellent service and the food was amazing. Best afternoon tea I have ever had and we will be back in the future for other family events!! I didn't take any photos because of the nature of the occasion but the food came in trays and it was just so well laid out.

We collected 4 takeaway afternoon teas today. Made our way up to Hexham by the river, set the table. When we opened the containers we were absolutely amazed at the beautiful food laid out in front of us. Each serving had four sandwiches, four different fillings, a cheese scone, with butter, a blueberry scone with butter, clotted cream & jam, a slice of cake and a slice of cheesecake. The quality of all the food was truly outstanding. I cannot recommend The Yellow Teapot highly enough.Thank you so much, you made an afternoon with my Mam, & two sisters very special.

Popped in today for brunch. My porridge was perfect! My husband had a panini, which he said was lovely. Friendly staff and covid measures in place. X

My partner and I have just had 2 x roast dinners (1 chicken, one beef), as a takeout. It was absolutely delicious; generous portions, a good range of veg and really tasty gravy served in a separate container. I'd thoroughly recommend and we'll definitely be ordering from there again. Thank you!

Great little tearoom serving a nice selection of hot and cold food and drinks, a gorgeous afternoon tea and Sunday Lunch on Sundays. Staff incredibly friendly, and the place has a great feel to it. You can also bring your dog here and they're sure to receive a warm welcome.

My daughter and I ate Sunday lunch at The Yellow Teapot today and it was cooked and presented perfectly. The decor is so fresh and relaxing and Lynn and the lady cook very inviting and friendly. Already planning my next visit as it got a double thums up from my 8 year old. Cannot recommend enough.
