Been here a few times. Food is nice, staff are lovely, good value for money.

Food is cheap and chatty and over priced. Waitress prefers to get away from customer asap and brings half of the order.I bought the ultimate chip butty and gravy. Chips were horrible and having to pull most of the soggy paper out of my food that they place it on was a chore (gravy already on when recieving it). Chips tasted like they were re heated in microwave. And the loaf of bread could more then likely be used to build a wall with due to its durability during impactNot a great place to go.

Although it was a busy afternoon the staff were efficient and very friendly. We (family of 4) all enjoyed our meal and drinks and the nice atmosphere in the pub. See you again soon!

Went for late tea ordered curry portion was tiny but when mentioned was given another one with decent portion no quibble, got impression it's something that's happened before as quick response. Staff friendly close to A1

The website states hours are 11am til 11pm. After standing half an hour in the cold. A stroppy woman opens up and states ' we dont open till 12'. I said the Website says 11. Her reply ' well its wrong, it also says we do breakfasts but we dont'. Filthy look followed. What a rude bad-tempered lady this was. Will never ever go back. Food below average, no atmosphere, staff as miserable as sin. Quite a depressing place.

This place has always been very local to me,.... only used to pop in for the few pints and a bit grub, which has always been nice. After having one nice meal, and customer service at its highest standards, I came back, and back again, and still continue to come back!!! Staff are always friendly, approachable, professional, and most of all true to them self's, good banter, and can have a laugh. Can't do enough for you,... humanity at its best! Everyone talks, even if you haven't met in your life. It's a place full of happiness, and laughter, a proper English pub, geordies at their best. Someone's party tonight, and the place was brilliant. Was absolutely lush seeing people enjoying themselves, and other folks getting up and dancing to the music. The disco was class, definitely need to have this more often, not just for parties, just a regular thing. It's nice to see a community getting together, enjoying life, and living their best! Staff even joined in too. It's what it's all about!!!! Food did not disappointment, and overall could of partied there all night!!!! Prices are good, cleanliness maintained, staff do amazing job!!! Defo need more disco nights!!!!! 😀¥

Came in for a family meal with my partner and son. We had the steak fondue and it was amazing. Nice and hot with plenty of food to share. My son had the chicken nuggets with chips and carrots and cucumber sticks, he loved it. Thanks again to all the staff it was lovely! I’ll Be back again 😁

Took 15 month old for family dinner. Ordered her rice carrots and peas.The carrots came in raw sticks - basically a quartered carrot. It does NOT state carrot sticks on the menu. "Carrots" or "cucumber and carrot sticks". Huge choking hazard for any child under the age of 5 and clearly do not understand the correct sizes to cut things in to reduce choking risks.When I commented to the waitress that they were raw I was told they only cook carrots on Sundays for dinner! No offer to replace with something more appropriate despite explaining my child would not be able to eat them.The rice has something mushed into it, not sure if it was butternut squash but because of the texture she wouldn't eat it.I had mango chicken and rice - all i could taste was the chilli's in the meal. Hubby had Mexican steak, the steak must have folded on the griddle so was partly uncooked in areas (lucky he takes his rare usually but he was not asked how this should be cooked as it was a flattened steak). Son had millionaires burger, enjoyed his.Oh and with the exception of the friendly man who sat us, the staff could do with cracking a smile!

Just had the steak fondue challenge, me and my partner shared it as I was a big softy in case I couldn't eat it , well we both nearly finished it ! Absolutely stuffed . Perfectly cooked steak , no cheap meat you chew for 5 mins. 100 % recommend the food. The manager and staff made us feel very welcome. Try it you won't be disappointed! . Steve and Kelly. Never been before. Option of app or table service and we opted for app. It was quite busy but didn't feel enclosed as it's a big place and service was really good and friendly. Food was nice and the staffs attention to detail and friendliness was great. Will definitely visit again. Thank you.
