Went for afternoon tea twice. Amazing and friendly staff who went above and beyond. Would highly recommend.

I thought it was a little overpriced to be honest and the service was very lacking. The quality didn't reflect the pricing. It wasn't busy (one other table), but our table seemed to be ignored whilst they catered to the take away window. We were sat for a very long time before someone came to take our order. We were just about to get up and leave, I wish we had.The fryer was off, then on, then off, then on, then the chips were half cooked when they did come. Almost £9 for some watery, canned, stewed steak in a soggy baguette and some half cooked chips with enough paprika on them to challenge the most seasoned spicy food enthusiast. The flake and cone my ice cream were served in were stale. The ice cream was the only positive thing. Two of our party are autistic and we struggle with social anxiety. Some of the reviews of the service are horrendous so, call us wimps, we don't like confrontation and thought it best to just leave and never go back again.I think because there's so few options at Seaton, they think that they don't need to maintain a high standard and that might be the case for captive audiences like tourists, but for locals like us, it's just one more reason to skip Seaton. Old and dilapidated arcades, ridiculously overpriced ice cream and now parking charges across the board, even in the disabled bays. Seaton is rubbish. If we fancy a day at the beach in future, we'll find another one, or I'll be taking a freezer bag and a tub of ice cream to dish out!

I absolutely love this place, the ice creams are amazing and there are so many different flavors you can chose from. It's also very clean. This is my happy place :)

Lovely ice cream, massive portions, beautiful parlour but extremely rude staff.I saw one member of staff out of about 6 smile the whole time I was in there. We sat down and the server came up to us, "YES?"I beg your pardon?! I was gobsmacked. My Godsons were a little disappointed when they received their ice cream because there were no toppings or sauce, we didn't ask for any to be fair, but we weren't asked either - no big deal.I said to the boys, go up and ask if you can have some.My eldest godson said excuse me, may we have some sprinkles, the lady who I assume is the owner said I'll put some in a tub, she picked up the jar and said are these ones ok, they were talking amongst themselves so didn't hear her, she then barked "hello, who am I talking to here?"Well, you were talking to a 9 and 6 year old. Shame on you. My godchildren have been taught from a young age that good manners are paramount. Something your team seems to be lacking, these boys should come in and give a workshop.Workspaces should be led by example. The owner seemed like she didn't want to be there, this is obviously feeding down the line to the rest of the staff.I certainly won't be back. Shame, because the product and premises are gorgeous.

We visited today with our daughter, it was a lovely bright spot in a grey, rainy day! The premises are spotlessly clean and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Great selection of treats and lots of flavours, would highly recommend a visit, we will be back.

A individual we support at work asked to go here for a coffee so we took them in, the lady took our order and gave us the coffee in a disposable cup, the individual we support then asked for a piece of cake and I asked if this could please be put into a takeaway container. The lady abruptly informed me they didnāt have any takeaway containers so I asked if we could sit in and the individual have it on a plate. She said āwell then you canāt have the coffee in a takeaway cupā baring in mind this had already been given to the individual and they wouldnāt understand why itās being taken away. I said canāt we keep it in the takeaway cup and sit and eat the cake off a plate, she said no, by this time the individual was having behaviours and getting stressed with the member of staff doing this. I then told her not to worry and I paid for the coffee. I was trying to calm the individual down so admittedly did not say thank you to the member of staff and quite frankly I donāt feel I should have. On walking out I heard her talking to other staff and she said what a rude man. I heard this and turned round and said I heard that! She then came running over to the door and started raising her voice at me and when we have an individual with learning difficulties who was clearly getting stressed this was beyond believe. This place should be ashamed of employing staff who have no consideration for people with learning difficulties.
