We visited the Hope & Anchor because we had heard good things so thought we would try it for ourselves. We were not disappointed in the least, very friendly and helpful staff, the quality of the food was really good and there was a lot to get through. All in all we will definitely be back there.

Lovely home cooked food. We had the light bite option which is more than enough. Loads of gravy which made my husband very happy!

Lovely friendly pub /restaurant. My wife and I went on Thursday night to try it. It was quite busy as they had a party booked in and nearly all tables had been reserved but they managed to fit us in. Lovely friendly staff, meal was beautiful and great value for the amount we got .I would recommend booking as it does get quite busy. we shall be returning x

First visit tonight, staff, service and food was excellent, great choices on the menu. Our party had light bites, we probably couldn't have finished a larger portion. Will definitely recommend this to others.

Just popped out for some tea after work and managed to get a table for the good lady and myself. The place was very busy but the staff sat us down , took our drinks order and brought some menu's. When they took our order they told us there would be a wait of upto 45 minutes for our food. When the meal came it was worth the wait. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals and will be visiting this establishment again soon.
