"Explore our two-for-one menu and take in the view at The Jacksons Wharf pub—a family-friendly place serving great value food. We’re right on Hartlepool Marina, with a perfect view of HMS Trincomalee: Britain’s oldest floating warship! This wooden frigate, previously called HMS Foudroyant, is the unofficial symbol of Hartlepool and a great backdrop for a fantastic meal. Eat and drink alfresco on our large patio and enjoy the sights and sounds of the sea. Or come inside for a warm, welcoming environment and a well-stocked bar featuring cask ales from Marston’s five breweries. Our two-for-one menu is served daily, and there’s a professional pub quiz every Wednesday. Plus, you can now order at Amazon and pick up here!"

Appalling. Driest burger I've ever come across. Shoe leather would have been easier to chew / digest. Avoid at all costs

Was here for dinner. Warm friendly atmosphere, nice stuff. Chicken was okay but nothing special. Chips were crispy and the salad fresh. Average quality but not bad.

I ate there last night (15/2/22). The food was terrible. The burger was the toughest, most over cooked piece of beef I have ever had. It was awful and I think I'm still chewing it now. And it cost £16.95. Not good enough.

Waited ages before we could order because they only had one chef at work. When we did order and get our meals the steaks where cooked perfectly but the chips and onion rings where soggy as though they had been warmed up. Won't be returning not a good service.

Eat here regularly. Great place for a varied pub menu. clean, well-spaced tables, friendly atmosphere and lovely staff - nicely made and presented pub food. Gud prices. Never been disappointed.

When booking my table I was advised that Sunday lunch was served until around 4pm and that if we arrived at 3pm there world still be a code of meats available for Sunday lunch. This was the first time my mam had been out in almost 2 years due to covid and when we arrived at 3pm we ordered drinks, 5 minutes later went to order food to be advised that there was no food left. We had specifically asked about times due to my elderly mam not being able to eat early in the day. We then had to leave and find somewhere else to eat

I've been visiting here for about twenty years. I used go quite regularly from 2002-2009 when I worked nearby. I lived out of the area for a while but I visit when I can. It's changed hands a few times, had its ups and downs, but when I visited today it was great. I think the decor and food are the nicest they've ever been. I'm really happy to see that it hasn't succumbed to the pandemic and the economic downturn that hit the hospitality sector so hard.I spent about four hours here today and the interior was lovely, a little tired in places, but overall quite cosy and comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and tidy. They still haven't oiled the cubicle door in the men's. That isn't a criticism, I LOVE IT. It's a trip down memory lane and reminds me of better days getting smashed at the pub! They say smell and memory are strongly connectedIt's very true. I opened the door to the toilets and I was hit by the nice smell of, what I'm absolutely certain, is the exact same disinfectant and bleach that they'd used over a decade ago. I know that sounds daft, but it stirred so nostalgia and nice memories. The door still makes the exact same, extremely loud, creaking noise that can be heard from the other side of the pub. It's done this for over a decade. PLEASE DON'T OIL THE DOOR. It's a feature of the place that brings back fond memories. The pricing was very reasonable for two meals, though a little more expensive than it used to be, but I think the quality of the food is better now so I'm happy to pay for better quality food.I really enjoyed my scampi, chips, mushy peas, bread, butter and tartar sauce and my friend enjoyed his Cumberland sausages, mash and gravy.Lovely views of the Marina from our table.Service at the bar was great. My only criticisms are that it was extremely quiet, but despite this our table wasn't cleared for at least an hour after we had finished our food and secondly, there's stickers on every table with a QR code to scan to order from your table. I scanned it, picked my pub from the list and it said that the service wasn't available at this specific pub. So why advertise it on every table?Great food, great prices, great atmosphere, good service, great parking and toilet facilities. I'll definitely be back.So glad you guys are still going!

A very bland but very expensive meal, perhaps a little sale would brighten the plate up? I had a £15 gammon steak which was only just cooked. Not once did anyone ask if everything was okay nor were we thanked - Will not visit again
