As it was Mothers Day we booked lunch for all the family we arrived at 2pm which is the time we booked for but had to wait as there wete no tables the woman who runs it Andrea was extremely rude & her husband apologised for his "stroppy wife' his words we finally got served at 2.45 & ive been ill ever since needless to say i wont be gping there again worst service ive ever had

Just had my first 'taste' of The McOrville Inn. Great traditional pub, with a lovely, friendly atmosphere. Tried the food too, and it was lovely. Definitely worth another visit.

Drinks took ages to come in the end reminding them when we got the food. The roast beef had just run in off the field and been carved. The pork was cold and the rest wasn't too exciting. Two other people sent the beef back and asked for an alternative. Worst service in a long time.

Great country drinkers pub (you need a driver or get a taxi) several draught beers and largers which are well looked after. Always something going on. Sunday meals but phone first for meals during the week.

Visited The McOrville Inn with my wife and 2 kids and there was something on the menu for everyone. Food was excellent, I had Fish and Chips which was excellent (and its easy to get Fish and Chips wrong in my opinion), my wife had the steak and ale pie, kids had some fish nuggets with chips each. All spot on and reasonably priced. Lovely village, friendly pub and atmosphere with what looks like plenty going on. Certainly somewhere we would visit again.
