Merry Go Round in Hartlepool

Carvery available as well as full menu reasonably priced clean great for kids hot great tasting food mixed grill large mixed grill scampi we have tried value for money

Nice and easy to get to, reasonably priced for reasonable tasting food

Place was heaving; it was crowded and noisy.Queues for the carvery were huge. The turkey was dry, and the beef was VERY underdone and pink, almost bloody. The other meals ordered took ages to come out as well. The crust on the Cornish pasty pie was like concrete and couldn't be cut.

Food took forever to arrive and was cold. I personally had a steak that was practically inedible as it was so tough and no apology was offered for any delay.Half of the menu online was unavailable including the Carvery which was sat staring at us with no one eating as you can only order online via their app.EDIT: We were contacted directly by the manager who kindly offered us a money off voucher which we used to give the place a second chance. Safe to say this time the food was mich better and a more enjoyable experience.I have edited from a 1 to 5 star review

A lovely friendly pub. Plenty staff available to clean up and replenish. Food was amazing. Would definitely recommend this establishment. Lovely play area for the children as well. Prices are very reasonable

Just nipped in, never been before... then had the carvery. It was fantastic. The staff were very helpful and friendly too.

As always the staff are extremely helful polite and welcoming,we go there for the children to play, but in reality its a great place to socialise in with great food that is always served with a smile nothing is ever too much for these guys, a special mention to courtney, lisa, and cathy these ladies are great with the children, they go that extra mile, christmas was fantastic in wacky, made us forget the troubles of the past year.Keep up the great work you really make a difference to so many people.

Staff were all really nice and the food was lovely, there's a month's pass available for the play area which is great if you take your kids frequently. To make the most of the pass for than 3 visits pays for its self.

Went for lunch today, everyone was very chatty and lovely. Had a great laugh, and I really enjoyed the food. When it came to dessert there was no sticky toffee pudding left, after I craved it and said it was better than anywhere I've tasted. The staff members ann Marie and Holly were at the rescue. They found 2 toffee puddings just for us, they really do look after you brilliantly. I also loved how the restaurant was chilled and quiet, just right to relax and have a quiet meal. The food was great the staff was fab Highly recommended

Had a wonderful meal tonight with awesome service. The chef was really nice and polite to my fiancé so made the evening feel special. The place was all decorated ready for Xmas and had a warm inviting atmosphere. A great experience thanks
