Mumbai Majestic Indian Dining in Hartlepool

Disgusting food!! Even dog turned his nose up at it. AVOID this place if wanting to eat quality meat and Indian food. Golden gate and Dilshad much better.

Really dissatisfied with my order. Ordered at 6.10 with an estimated delivery time of about 7pm. At 7.30 we had an update via the app to say that our order was out for delivery. When no order showed up and it was showing as delivered and as my order hadn't been delivered I phoned the restaurant, the first attempt I had the phone put down on me and then when I called back I was told my food hadn't even been made yet and that it must be justeats fault and was told it must be a problem with the app. I was then told my order wouldn't be out for delivery for at least another 20 minutes. It had already been nearly 2 hours at this point. Order eventually arrived at 8.15 only to find that the order was missing the chips and it wasn't even a big order. Phoned back again to be told that they were sorry but it would be another 40 minutes at least befor these would be delivered or could they discount the amount next time we ordered. Customer service was terrible and seemed to just blame the app, and then say we've been busy. Took over 2 hours to come and then have items missing is just redicouls.

We looked for a gluten free restaurant and MM came through for us! The food came earlier than expected and was very tasty. My vindaloo started medium and ended up explosive, as a hot curry lover would expect.

We were waiting for this ti reopen for quite a while as we have been struggling to find a decent Indian restaurant in 'The North' since moving from 'The South'. The meal is fantastic, staff friendly and professional and we are very happy that we found our new favourite Indian place in this area. Definitely recommended, very delightful restaurant. Please keep the standard in the future.

Have been three times. First two times food was great but the last time I wasn't given me the meal I had ordered. As it was my wifes birthday I didn't want to make a fuss but when I told them of their mistake on leaving they were not apologetic at all. Not very impressed with their attitude.

Very Very nice food! best Indian in town in my opinion. The food is lovely the staff are always very friendly and helpful with advice when choosing food, the place is kept spotless and very welcoming when you enter. Food prices reasonable but they have happy hour and over summer they did a 50% off food bill so was no reason not to go. Food even nice if you get a takeaway definitely recommend eating here!

This came highly recommended. The food was tastless. The chicken tandoori was overcooked and dry. The portion was also small . Curry sauce was bland. Very disappointed. As we have just moved to the area we will continue to search for a decent Indian restaurant. 4 /10

Looked lovely on the website.Celebrating my 50th tonight with my family.Service was rubbish, food was lovely.Came over 3 times with card machine while we were still drinking drinks.Should of gone to spices.The staff had obviously been told to take payment. It was clear we had to hurry up.Atmosphere was left awkward.Stay clear.

Excellent food. You can tell the quality of the prep and cooking because there is little fat seen in the serving bowl and I digested the meal without the usual repetitive taste hours later. The staff are very friendly without being over the top. Excellent decor in tune with a modern Indian restaurant. Well done.

Disappointing. Food was mediocre and service was average. Unpleasant atmosphere. Rammed in behind a post near toilers next to a loud and raucous child's party at night . Unacceptable noise level and children running about and interrupting other diners ruined night out. Left after 45 minutes. Would never go back...not the type of environment i would consider for fine dining. Not recommended for a night out if you enjoy quality.
