Owton Lodge in Hartlepool

A busy place, which was much to see, the staff were very friendly and accomodating, the menu was good well priced and the food fabulous. I would highly recommend a visit. We will be back. Thanks to all the staff.

My recent visit was a big disappointment. The meal was cold, and the replacement was undercooked. There were 6 of us and 5 of us were finished before the 6th person received their meal. Needless to say we will not be going again.

Lovely food...nice atmosphere. Brilliant staff looking after your every need. Well done

Absolutely perfect! From the minute we walked in nothing was too much! Great food great atmosphere and comfortable surroundings. Well done!! Can't wait for the next time to dine here.

Good food and very attentive service from Matty ,denise and Paul. We had the festive menu and it was really good value for money.

Owing to our usual Hartlepool pub going way downhill recently, my partner and I decided to try the Owton Lodge for lunch. We had never set foot in the place before. It was clean and well furbished, a very impressive array of beers and lagers on draft, and the food was excellent. The staff were pleasant and friendly, and we were well impressed.

This was our first visit to Owton Lodge & it certainly won't be our last! From walking in via the Main Entrance we were warmly welcomed by the Manager and quickly found a table next to a Sunny window in the conservatory and we chose Fish and Chips from the 2Mains for £9.50 part of the Menu which were Excellent & so went to the Bar to purchase the Delicious food and 2 Drinks for me and my Mam & was served by a very pleasant and efficient Lass, who was also serving the delicious food to the tables!. I'm so pleased that we were UNABLE to get in at the Toby by the A19!

Unexpected visit to the Owton Lodge, with family and friends. Excellent service by the young girl and man. Food lovely. Young man behind bar 2nd to none, gave my family condolences, which was a lovely thing to do. Both members of staff thank you.

Service was great, rare I have seen staff work that hard, and they sanitised the tables and menus thoroughly between customers.Food was average, I ordered medium Rib Eye steak which is one of my favourite meals, the steak was dry, the mushroom was tiny, the chips were a bit of a lottery, some nicely crispy but some were rather undercooked (but not raw) I didn't really enjoy it but I was starving, I ate every bit, In hindsight I probably should have sent it back.

Went for lunch and we enjoyed it large selection of choices on menu and average score from five diners was 8/10 reasonably priced only fault was the fruit in the gin bar was still frozen still would revisit
