The best sambucas ever! The service was excellent & the food was fantastic. We didn't have a booking & it was very busy but we were welcomed in without hesitation. I had my young granddaughter & they made such a fuss of her & she was made to feel special. The portions were huge, we couldn't even finish half of the meal. I forgot to take a before picture, the one posted is of what I couldn't finish & it looks like a serving in itself. I can't recommend this wonderful restaurant enough. We were sat near the kitchen & even the very hard working kitchen staff were friendly.

I got the lunch time special, 3 course for £7.95. There was 8 of us and we were served quickly and politely. Personally would not get the soup again but that's personal taste. Carbonara is amazing.

A little gem. Sunday lunch superb and beautifully presented. Mashed potato to die for. Nice surroundings and great service. Will be back to sample the wide ranging menu.

We had a fantastic experience in the restaurant from start to finish. We didn't have a booking and they were extremely busy but the lovely girl who welcomed us said to give her 2 minutes and she would have a table for us. True to her word, she did. The service from all the staff was exceptional. The food was well worth the money, and the desserts were mouth-watering. If we were ever in the area again, it would definitely be where we would head.

First time visit today. Arrived at happy hour and was very busy but we didn't have to wait at all. Seated straight away and order taken as soon as we decided. Food was out in about 15min and was delicious. All of the staff where friendly and the atmosphere was brilliant. Would definitely recommend 10/10

A great place to eat, superb food, wonderful atmosphere and courteous staff. A little bit off the beaten track public transport wise, but we'll worth the effort.Furthermore the prices are reasonable and food superb. 5 stars

Up here for a weeks holiday, told to try here and not disappointed. Very good food. Party of 4 and all really enjoyed the different dishes of both starters and mains, we were too full for dessert though they looked very nice. Excellent quality food at very reasonable prices which is probably why the restaurant had a continuous flow of customers all night. The staff also very helpful and attentive, lovely evening. Would definitely return if staying longer.
