We had a large party go here on Friday some of us had groupon vouchers and we explained this on the telephone and when we arrived girl said just to give code at table. When waiter came for order I produced the groupon I had and from then on was made to feel like it was a huge problem waiter said you should of mentioned you had a groupon I explained I had don’t know what the problem was he was just rude. The place was so cold sat all night with my coat on.Food tasted ok my order was korma and rice and I nearly choked on what I thought was plastic the waiter took it away and said it was a chip, I didn’t have chips and the item vanished again he was rude. One of the party was up all night and poorly next day he was the only one who had mussels maybe it was them.I just think they were a bit funny with us after saying we had a groupon and did not give one hoot that one of the party nearly choked

Welcome,Frendly, clean, good prices.Food fresh, vegetables crisp,Good prices, good quality meat, amazing dips very tasty,Main meal was a little bland for my liking and didn't have any kick. Worth trying but it's not for me. I like a kick with loads of taste.

Went here with the wife one cold Saturday night in November, the place was quiet but probably due to the bad weather.Food was all nice enough, not the best that we have ever had but certainly no complaints. Staff friendly and a complimentary drink offered. We had the mixed starter to share and a main each with some rice and a roti.Annoyingly there was a bleeping alarm noise all night which in fairness may be due to the bad weather. The was a flickering light above us which was a faulty LED that made matters worse and to compound the problem towards the end of our meal staff started re arranging furniture near us, I guess in preparation for the following nights buffet. Not the greatest atmosphere. The bill with 4 pints of Cobra was £52.

Tuesday is the quiet night so we had the place almost to ourselves, but the food was as always spot on. Service was good and staff friendly and remembered us from our last visit.

I see several good reviews for this restaurant but I can only comment on my experienceWhen I visited with my family, it wasn't a good visitthe first pint of lager that I had smelled a bit off so I changed to a bottled beerThe poppadums were clearly from a previous day and warmed up. They weren't crispy as expectedTwo of the dishes, we had to send back because they were not what was expected and the service was slowI have experience of many Indian restaurants in the UK and overseas. Perhaps I am too fussy but the food was average at best. Compare that with somewhere like Luigikhans in Newcastle, or Mumtaz in Bradford and they are worlds apartIt wasn't cheap either. £ 140 for 5 people.

Visited a week ago and we were well impressed with the service, quality of food, and value for money. Will definitely go back again!

Oysters for starters. Lamb Rogan Josh for main. Very mild but nice enough. I'm not sure why raw carrot garnish was added to every dish. Had to ask for a new plate since mine was dirty.

Lovely food and friendly and knowledgeable staff. Waiter's recommendations gave me a meal just right to my tastes. Nice atmosphere too. (We were last to leave at 11pm so got some pics of resturant)
