Subway in Hartlepool

Went in last week, the blonde girl who works there has to be the laziest ignorant women I’ve ever met.She must have ignored me for about 7 minutes, even if she was busy, which whe wasn’t, a simple acknowledgment would have been ok.Then she looked like I was asking for the world when all I wanted was a delicious meatball sub, she let out a large huff to let me know she was hire clearly couldn’t be bothered.Won’t be coming back until she’s gone. Sort your staff out, it’s a joke.

Absolutely awful customer service!‘Blond’ girl completely ignored me as I walked in to an empty store - she was busy making up an order for Just Eat but she didn’t even acknowledge me. When she finished the order she potted round a little bit (just to make her point I think) and eventually came over and asked what I wanted.Her attitude gave the impression that she didn’t want to be there and resented me being there too! She got my order wrong and charged me an extra 50p for what she’d made up, when I questioned it she give me a smirk and pointed out the price on the menu. I shan’t bother with this outlet again.This isn’t the only subway in town, if I were you I’d drive straight past here and go to the one on the marina!

Nice sandwich, just a bit put out by two ither items asked for were "out of stock", only had Walker's Crisps, didn't have any of the Nacho Chicken Bites, server was taking her time talking about nowt to two chavs she knew, while we were waiting...

I love subway, but this is really bad. It is by far the worst I've ever been in. Everytime I go in they don't have anything you want. Case example today. I went in to order 5 subways for work colleagues. Every single order was not in/unavailable/sold out (at 12.15 pm dinnertime!). They claimed they had nothing (the shop's not even a busy one) and they have done everytime I've been in. One of the subways was for a vegan (which subway usually have a decent selection for) so I went through the choices: meatball marinara ("no"), vegan chicken ("no"), veg patty ("none left"), hash browns ("sold out"), foot-long salad with vegan cheese ("no cheese left). So I thought just get a salad - only 3 salad ingredients on display. I asked, is this all you've got? ("we'll be getting some more in tomorrow"). Everytime I've been, same story. I don't know whether it's incompetence, laziness, or poor management but don't go here: here's others in the area.

I ordered 2 sandwiches 1× meatball sub and 1× meatless meatball sub. They delivered them when we opened them we could not see which one was the vegetarian one. I rang the store and they said they misread the order and not only that they did not even have any meatless meatballs in. My daughter has been vegetarian for over five years and could have eaten one. All i can say is careless customer service 😒 Be more careful next time.

I loved getting a Mega Melt for breakfast and missed it these last couple of months. Hearing that my nearest was open and just having been paid. I thought spoil yourself and get a 12" Megamelt. When I got there the woman serving said they had no eggs, but could do a bacon and sausage. I accepted with disappointment. Before I could say anything she had put it in the oven. No offer of cheese as per the norm. I ask if it had cheese and she replys No I'll put it on after if you want some. Now wheres the fun in that. Decided I didnt want the cold cheese and feared for my life if I got a coffee, so I didn't. I left with my dry bacon and sausage sub with the worlds smallest amount of ketchup inside it. Thinking I wish Gregg's next door was open. There bacon rolls might be rubbish but at least you know what your getting and the staff are happy and polite.

Really enjoy my vegan salad box. Love the variety of flavours. It was carefully assembled by a member of staff which is a credit to Subway. A very pleasant visit.

Ordered 4, foot-long chicken tikka.. One of them had a hair in the sandwich. When complained, there was no concern and a cold sorry was given. Drinks were awful, when complained another cold sorry, my son got half a cookie, we did not bother to complain as we did not want another cold sorry.Worst experience, never going again

I can only speak as I find....It's 3pm on a stupidly hot Saturday afternoon, and I'm on my lunch break from work.My sandwich was freshly made, then toasted.All the staff were lovely and friendly.The place was clean and tidy throughout even though there was a constant flow of customers.5/5
