Fish and chips were well cooked but disappointed with the portion size for the price. We've had bigger half lots in several places to be honest.

Worlds most expensive chip shop almost 3 pounds for a bag of chips. After eating the chips you get like a wax coating in your mouth and there cod is mushy it doesn't flake like nice fresh cod it's more like mash potatoes.

Rude, got shouted at over the phone for taking more than 5 seconds to decide on something! Terrible portion size and really expensive, would rather eat out of a bin than go here again. Avoid like the plague.

My wife and I have purchased fish and chips from this shop for over 50 years. They have always been the best we have ever tasted and in particular the fish. They do not cook in oil and this also makes a difference.We do not live in Hartlepool now but when we visit relatives we buy f and c and sit in the car round the corner from the shop and eat them

Over priced and not very nice. They charge almost £2 for a bag of chips which would be classed as a small bag, the staff don't listen when you order food as they managed to get my simple order wrong. And to be frank the chips weren't even that nice.
