It was OK. Food was ok. Its a shame it used to be lovely, it has an unloved feel about it and not very clean. Lovely location but the spotted cow looked and felt unloved and tired.

Choose this pub after hearing about the great feedback,and the hospitality, food was 10/10 made my daughters 18th birthday very special, we took our own cake, and they sang happy birthday to her. Staff are very friendly. Will definitely be back.

Went for a family meal today. Thirteen of us. No problem for the Spotted Cow. Food arrived swiftly, and of excellent quality. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Couldn't ask for more. Never had a bad meal here. Highly recommended.

One of the best pubs for miles, staff are polite and friendly and the food is beautifully cooked with generous portion sizes. Will definitely be back.

Drove up from town with our dog for a change and what a great idea. Food is beautiful and good sized portions and a good selection of beers and wines. After food we had a few games of pool in the bar and played songs on the jukebox. Could've stayed there all night

Lovely village pub. Landlord and landlady are really nice. Food was superb. The portion sizes were very generous to say the least. Good selection of beers and an excellent Pinot Grigio I must say. Thoroughly enjoyed my birthday meal out. Would definitely recommend and will be going there again.

I haven't been here for a few years due to Covid-19, but I paid a visit with my sister and nephew on 07 September 2021. It was quite quiet so we decided to eat indoors given there weren't that many people around.It was nice to have a lunch out together and to do something normal after abstaining for so long.The food is absolutely unreal, far better than I remembered - and even back then it was great! I've never seen such a large piece of fish!The fish and chips were fantastic. My sister enjoyed her chicken, bacon and Stilton baguette with sauce and my nephew really loved his pizza sticks and chips.The food was perfect, the portions were spot on, and the pricing was very fair.The service was great and it was nice and clean, organised and well run.I can't wait to go back!
