Lovely Saturday afternoon meal with friends after a long beach walk. Burgers were great as was the pie. Nice drinks, everything was good value. Staff friendly. Really enjoyed the atmosphere and not too busy.

Well not happy... First we waited over half an hour for our starters and we had a "sorry got no Prawn Cocktail left", then ordered 3 Rib Eye Steaks and got told "sorry no rib eye left", then said OK fine we will have 3 Sirloin with peppercorn sauce, only to be told "sorry got no peppercorn sauce left" .... As if this wasn't enough, we wanted a nice dessert we went to the bar to order them, only to be told "sorry the quiz has started so we are NOT doing food anymore" it was only 9:30pm, needless to say we won't be going back, ever.

Starters and desserts were lovely. Staff first class. Unfortunately the fish was a let down. Oil needed changing and was a bit greasy

Venue and staff are really amazing. But the food was disappointing. We had a Sunday roast.I think everything was frozen, and the gravy had less taste than a piece of kitchen roll. Seriously the worst gravy I've ever had.I've had some shoddy meals out.Way over priced and under nice😒It's a shame they didnt put as much effort into creating food as they did with their interior design.

How this pub can advertise itself as a cask ale pub and hold camra award I would love to no. Again tonight I walked up and left thirsty as with all the hand pull pumps they did not have even one cask ale on. This is not the first time iether. A cask ale pub my arse

Hi, we have been coming here once a week for a few weeks now for food and drinks, cant fault the place, food is always lovely. The staff are always friendly with a special thankyou to Helen who always greets us with a big smile and welcome. Keep up the great customer service. From Us all xxx

Well what can I say. I have never been to this pub before and we went by mistake. That was the first time, we've actually been back again. It's lovely there. Fantastic atmosphere and great staff. Lovely and open with a modern traditional feel to it. The seats were so comfortable. The food was exceptional, no complaints from our group at all.We actually went back the next night to celebrate a birthday and the staff made a big fuss over the birthday boy.We down loaded their app and got a free drink, we were advised to by the bar staff :)All in all a great couple of nights spent here and we will be going back
