Great cocktail / bar in the centre of Middlesbrough above TS1. A hidden gem with live acoustic music performed by good local acoustic musicians most weekends.

Excellent indie cocktail joint. Fantastic for date night. Very intimate. You’ll need a passcode for the door lock to get in, you can get this off their Facebook. Adds a unique and nifty sort of exclusivity in a geeky way to get into the bar. The staff are friendly and the quality of the drinks are great. Would recommend.

Excellent atmosphere and themed as a prohibition era hidden cocktail bar complete with shuttered windows and appropriate background music. A really great cocktail list, all made fresh by knowledgeable and friendly staff. Needing the weekly secret code to get on the door all adds to the excitement of this great quirky hidden gem of a bar.

Excellent music at the open mic night hosted by Heather Story. Nice cocktail bar and a friemdly intimate atmosphere.

Through the door marked "Toilets", up the stairs and having to enter a keycode to get in, wobbly stools made from long dead railways, barrels as tables, plastic flowers in milk bottle in a teapot. A mint julep that would be ideal on a hot summers day in the deep south has no right to taste quite as good on a rainy Spring evening in Middlesbrough.

Went out for the night to the bar, it's really busy on a Saturday night. Loved the key-in bar upstairs though. Good atmosphere all around

Went for afternoon tea, wasn't the best to be honest, but bet the profit margins are good for the company so there's always a positive, plus the teapot was cracked, wasn't angry just disappointed, my parents used that line on me

Had afternoon tea today. Was dreadful. The sandwiches were like door stops and very unappetising. There was 4 bits of cheap swiss roll and 2 quarters of vanilla slice, a cheese scone and a fruit scone between us. A pot of jam and a pot of butter. No cream. The cocktail that they put in a tea pot was mostly ice. Worst afternoon tea iv ever had and it was a birthday treat for myself and my friend. Disapointed.
