Greasy fish and chips swimming in oil. Would definitely not go back. They stopped doing tartare sauce! Not a good experience. The only reason I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because of the lovely customer service.

Not sure if this place has changed owners but the Parmo I got last night was not a patch on what they used to be. Chicken dry and burnt on the edges, quite a small one even though I ordered large and generally poor. Won’t be coming back again. Definitely gone downhill.

Just got fish and chips, not been there since the Emerson days, what a chippy that was and will never be going back, the fish and chips were saturated and dripping in whatever they cooked them in, even the other person who can normally stomach anything, put them in the bin as well and at a very expensive price it's not what you would expect. Come on €2.50 for a bag of chips or the smaller version €2.00 is extortion.

Amazing parmos defo the Best spot for parmos never dissapointed, can be a little late on delivery but always worth the wait.

Waited 1hour and 20 minutes for delivery food come after I rang 3 times to see where it was food was barely warm

Badly managed , waited 25 mins for mediocre food . Over £16 for sausage & chips , burger & chips and a cod with peas and gravy . Staff quite rude , certainly no greeting or a smile between them. Wont visit again , I'm afraid

I did some work as a telephone engineer here, and can confirm that the non-public areas are spotless (as well as the main shop area). Friendly and kind staff, plus superb fish and chips - moist and flaky cod in crisp batter, plump chips with crispy bodies, everything done really well and served efficiently with a smile. Highly-recommended!
