We went for mother's day. Very clean and lovely food. The stuff are very friendly and the owner is lovely too. The food is fresh and served hot. Its a nice cozy place to go with family. Good food would definitely recommend. Hope this helps.

I’ve tried their breakfast. 5/5 The ambiance of the place is such a vibe 💯

Had a jasmine pink tea and a peanut butter, chocolate and granola açai bowl. It was nuts! The only thing I regret is that I didn’t order a weekly subscription of them. My daily breakfast pales in comparison.

·

Ordered a desi breakfast of paratha and channay. Food was very authentic. Lovely ambience, nice pleasant customer service. Lots of choice for food and dessert. 10/10

I ordered tuna melt panini they gave me tuna on toast I told them and they said that's all we do Why didn't you just say we don't do paninis. Coffee is below average.

·

Beautiful decor, relaxed atmosphere and lovely staff. Best place for a hot chocolate by far. Good value for money, going here is an experience and would definitely recommend.

Tucked away right next to Tescos on Linthorpe road, DeMelo is one short, assignment-free walk away from the main Teesside University campus.Throughout my course me and my mates needed a place to talk and relax away from it all.DeMelo always seemed to have a chilled, relaxed atmosphere about it.There’s a varied selection of hot drinks up for sale for both sit-in and takeout and a cool selection of sweet treats like ice cream, sundaes and other desserts. It did used to be a lot better though, the vanilla latte I had last time I went there wasn't as good as it was in my Uni days and it's been turned from a half ice cream place- half cafe into essentially an ice cream parlor and sadly during that transition, for me at least, it lost some of its charm.

Visited early evening for coffee & cake. Choice of cake was very limited, although they did have hot puddings on the menu. Décor nice, but not sure if I will return.

Happy kids and mummy with today's treat. Delicious homemade ice cream. Lovely friendly, relaxed and welcoming feel to the place. Been many times, much prefer to other dessert places. Support local businesses.

This place is awesome. The food is unreal. The coffee is incredible. I will definitely be visiting again soon. Very nice atmosphere and the people were incredibly friendly.
